TheYu-Gi-OhTCG turns 25 this year and its creators have been revealing ways in which they plan to celebrate for the better part of the last 12 months. Revealed last summer, one of the waysKonamiplanned on celebrating Yu-Gi-Oh’s 25th birthday was via a range of new Yugi & Kaiba accessories. Now the release date for those accessories is here and you’re able to finally add them to your collections.
Everything in the new line of Yu-Gi-Oh accessories features images of Yami Yuga and Seto Kaiba, each wielding and brandishing cards as they prepare for battle. Pick up all four accessories and you can make your own decks quarter century-themed, the quartet of items meshing together perfectly due to the matching images of the characters used on all of the items.
Everything included is pretty reasonably priced too, although it’s worth noting none of the items come with any cards, old or new. They’re all merely accessories designed to store and use your own cards in style. In the Yugi & Kaiba collection is a card case capable of housing your main, extra, and side decks ($4.99), a set of 100 card sleeves (50 featuring the Yugi design and another 50 starring Kaiba, $9.99), a nine-pocket portfolio that can hold up to 180 cards ($9.99), and a game mat made to the same dimensions as others used in sanctioned tournaments ($16.99).
All four items in the new quarter century collection will be available to buy throughthe Yu-Gi-Oh TCG websitetoday if you live in Europe, and tomorrow (February 9) for fans in the US. The Yugi & Kaiba accessories join Yu-Gi-Oh’s 25th anniversary celebrationsalongside the Age of Overlord booster set. Released towards the end of last year, the booster set includes 101 cards, 25 of which are Quarter Century Secret Rares.
Also joining the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG in 2024 are its new Ashened cards, a type many pointed outbore remarkable similarities to characters and types of characters from various Soulsborne games. Seemingly inspired by the term Ashen One inDark Souls, various characters showcased via the new cards have a lot in common with characters fromElden Ringand all three Dark Souls games.
