XboxandBethesdaare preparing forFallout’s biggest period since the release ofFallout 76, and they don’t even need to make a game. Fallout’s TV adaptation hits Amazon Prime on April 11, the entire series dropping all in one go, and a few things are being done to mark the occasion. Perhaps most notably the latest Xbox sweepstake. Fallout fans have been given the chance to win a one-of-a-kindSeries Xwith a matching controller, and best of all, a Vault 33 safe to keep them in.
Xbox runs these sweepstakes on a semi-regular basis, but this might be the most lucrative unique console it has ever given away. One of the legal requirements of running a contest like this is detailing how much it’s worth, even though it’s not for sale, in the fine print. Xbox reveals that this particular sweepstake package has a street value of more than $5,000. That’s largely due to the vault which is listed at $4,500.
The outside of the vault is scuffed and scratched to make it look like it has lived through the end of the world, and there’s an image of Vault Boy giving a thumbs up on the inside of its door. The Series X you get with the vault slots neatly inside of it since it’s made to measure and is covered in the same all-over Fallout print asthe controller option recently added to Design Lab. The matching controller looks very similar to the Fallout ones you can make through Design Lab.
To be in with a chance of being the only person on the planet to own this Series X and vault, you will need to make sure you’re following the official Xbox account on Twitter, and then retweet the post above. Once that’s done, you’re all set. However, you need to be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the US to be eligible to win. You will also need to have entered the sweepstake by the time it closes on July 23, 2025, and a winner will be chosen within seven days of the sweepstake ending.
Xbox has been giving these consoles away more frequently as of late.A one-of-a-kind Palworld Series Swith four unique controllers was given away earlier this year to celebrate the survival game’s unexpected success. Just last week Xbox unveileda great-looking Final Fantasy 14 Series X, bright blue and sitting on a gold pedestal. The sweepstake for the FF14 Series X is still open ahead of the game’s arrival on Xbox this week.
