It was shocking for many people to learn that Xbox was planning on bringing several of its exclusives over to rival platforms in early 2024. This kind of act is usually uncommon, but Xbox’s strategy does make sense here regarding certain titles needing a wider audience reach.
Certain genres like fighting games and JRPGs do much better on PlayStation, andsome great exclusivesare currently hidden in plain sight to the overall gaming world. The exclusives that should come to PlayStation aren’t necessarily the marquee ones, but the titles that make sense and would give it more exposure.

Both first and third-party exclusives are counted here.
10Quantum Break
The Lost Chapter In The Alan Wake Saga
WithAlan Wake 2being such a critical hit, winning tons of awards, many would like to play all the titles in its universe, including the original game andControl. One game that legally isn’t in the Alan Wake universe but clearly plays a part and is referenced quite often isQuantum Break.
Microsoft still owns the Quantum Break IP, and the title should get ported to other platforms as it’s animportant piece of Remedy’s catalogto experience. Bringing it back to books, it’s sort of like reading The Dark Tower series in that you have to read other Stephen King novels before moving on. You need that context, and playing Quantum Break before Control and Alan Wake 2 fits the same bill.

9Sunset Overdrive
Fits Perfectly For PlayStation
There’s no such game that’s a more obvious no-brainer to bring across to PlayStation thanSunset Overdrive. It just feels like a PlayStation title with its third-person movement-focused shooting gameplay, and there’s a very good reason for that.
Sunset Overdrive was developed by Insomniac Games, who today is most known for its quality PlayStation exclusives likeSpider-ManandRatchet & Clank, and is now, in fact, owned by PlayStation. The game fits so well for the platform, and a PS5 port would likely boost the title’s reach because it fits much better on there than on Xbox.

8Lost Odyssey
An All-Time Great JRPG That Most Haven’t Played
While Xbox has had some JRPG popularity in recent years thanks to its partnership with Atlus, PlayStation is still the dominant platform for the genre. SeveralFinal Fantasygames are exclusive to it, which is the biggest JRPG series ever.
This is a shame because the Xbox 360 exclusive Lost Odyssey needs to get its due as one of the all-time great JRPGs. It’s definitely for the old-school crowd, but it’s that good kind of old school, complete with an amazing story and soundtrack. Being an Xbox exclusive no doubt holds this game back from the potential audience it could have on other platforms.

7Rare Replay
Nintendo Shouldn’t Be The Only Ones Getting This
A common thing occurring is the release of classic Rare titles on Switch Online, which makes sense considering the developer’s roots at the big N. However, these gamesare must-play titles and so goodthat they should come over to PlayStation.
Perfect Dark,Banjo-Kazooie, classic Killer Instinct, Battletoads, and more are bona fide classics worth putting on everything. Plus, most of Rare Replay’s catalog consists of games that are over two decades old, so putting them on rival platforms isn’t really a big deal.

Why Not Complete The Whole Series On PlayStation?
Doesn’t it suck when you’re playing through a series on one console, and for some reason, one of the instalments didn’t come out on it, forcing you to use something else? That occurs in many series, includingDead Rising. Dead Rising 3 was an Xbox console exclusive and actually an Xbox One launch title.
Unlike Dead Rising 4, however, this game wasn’t later ported to PS4, leaving PlayStation gamers with one missing piece of the series. The later Dead Rising titles aren’t that great, but why not have every main instalment playable on PlayStation? It’s just frustrating to have this game be absent.

Unbelievable To Still Be An Xbox 360 Console Exclusive
Left 4 Dead 2should need no introduction as it’s one of the greatest co-op shooters of all time, one of thegreatest zombie games, and a masterpiece in general. With its all-time great status, it’s frankly unbelievable that no other console besides the Xbox 360 has the game.
Yes, Left 4 Dead 2 should be playable on any PC at this point, but many would still like to use their PS5 or Switch as their preferred way to play.Portal 1 and 2have been ported to Switch, so why not Left 4 Dead 2? It’s such an all-time great title that it should be on everything.

4The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings
A Necessary Chapter In The Witcher Saga
The first instalment in the legendaryWitcherseries is getting a remake, and while that’ll likely come to PlayStation, The Witcher 2 should arrive there as well. The Witcher 2 is a great game with everything you love about CD Projekt Red intact, and most importantly, it offers crucial story events that make it a must-play if you’re playing the whole series.
The Witcher isbest played one after another, and to have 1 and 3 be on one platform but missing 2 would just be a crime. It’s an important chapter to the saga, and with how huge the series is now, keeping it a 360 console exclusive would be ridiculous.

3Killer Instinct (2013)
One Of The Greatest Modern Fighting Games
Regarding eighth-generation console fighting games, inside the top three or possibly even top two titles would be Killer Instinct; a shame really, because not a lot of people played it. Like JRPGs, fighting games are much bigger on PlayStation, with most games at tournaments being run on the platform.
Killer Instinct was truly ahead of its time and remains a solid fighter, but coming to PlayStation would give it a much-needed shot in the arm. It just makes natural sense because PlayStation is where much of the core fighting game audience is.

2Phantom Dust
A True Hidden Gem
A fantastic Xbox exclusive that still feels fresh today is Phantom Dust. First, an original Xbox game before being remastered on Xbox One and PC, Phantom Dust is an action title combined with a card game, creating a wholly unique experience.
The two genre types seem polar opposites, but they work exceptionally well. Unfortunately, this game remains so under the radar, even for hardcore Xbox fans. Porting the title to other platforms could really help the title’s reach and help it escape that hidden gem moniker.

1Palworld
More Than Just A Gimmick
When pitching a product, you need a solid hook, and when that hook is ‘Pokemon with guns,’ it’s hard not to be intrigued.Palworld, however, doesn’t just deliver on the hook; it excels as a survival game and mixes up the monster-taming formula.
For manyPokemonfans, the title was refreshing, and it became hugely successful on both Steam and Xbox, making it a no-brainer to port to other platforms. The demand is there for a PS5 port, which would make the game even bigger than it is right now.
