Dragon’s Dogma 2is filled with optional quests to complete, but not all of these are easy and straightforward to figure out. One Vernworth quest titled ‘A Beggar’s Tale’ prompts you to “keep an eye on the beggar” without much instruction on what to do exactly.

You’ll likely wonder what it is that needs to be done as the beggar will keep recounting his tale over and over by the statue, and conversations with both the beggar and the quest giver are quickly moot. Here’s everything you need to know about how to complete this quest.
