There are five towers spread across the Palpagos Islands inPalworld, and each one is protected by a different faction. These factions are diverse and often at odds with each other, which makes it difficult to traverse the land without being attacked by one group or another.
The leader of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre is aloof and hides out in the tower on Mount Obsidian. He’s a tough opponent to face, but he plays a strong role in leading his faction and influencing the people under his care. Here’s everything you need to know about the leader of the faction.

Axel Travers’s Background
Axel Travers is the newly appointed high priest of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre. He only leaves one diary entry, and in it, he describes how he is itching to find a rival worthy of his time.
As leader of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre, he holds a lot of sway with the people of Fisherman’s Point. The believers in the Eternal Pyre look to him for guidance, as he journeyed to the tower on Mount Obsidian to initiate a prayer–or so the people in the settlement believed. However, he’s been gone for quite some time.
In his absence, his mystery and enigmatic personality only grow. The people of Fisherman’s Point revere him and wonder what he’s like as their new high priest, leading them to believe he is conducting a holy mission.
In truth, Axel wants to battle with other Pal tamers to have a legendary knock-out fight. He doesn’t care what type of Pal his opponent brings because he has Orserk as his partner, which is a rare and dangerous Electric Pal.
Brothers Of The Eternal Pyre Beliefs
Unlike other factions on the Palpagos Islands, the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre operate as a religious faction. The faction believes in purification by fire, as everything turns to ash in the flames. This can only be amplified as they are based around Mount Obsidian, where lava and magma flows freely.
It cannot be understated that this faction is one of the most intense groups of people you’ll encounter. They are relentless and cleanse the world with fire to protect it from the dangers and threats of human manipulation–such as genetic experiments on Pals.
