Party Chats are another way for you to increase your bond with your party members.Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealthdoes you a favor when it comes to the Walk And Talk dialogues: they put them right on the map for you. However, Yakuza giveth and Yakuza taketh away, as the Party Chats are not nearly as easily found.

Not only are Party Chats not located on the big map, even if you encounter a Party Chat—making it appear on the minimap—itstillwon’t show up on the overview map. So, you are going to need to keep your eyes on that minimap, as it is very easy to walk right past one of these vital sources for building your bonds. Thankfully, you won’t have to go it alone. We have tracked those chats down for you!

How Party Chats Work

Mechanically, Party Chats operate the same way as Walk And Talk dialogues (without the Bond Bingo stuff, of course). When you encounter a Party Chat, you simply need to press the button that appears on the left side of the screento activate it. Just like Walk And Talks, Party Chats increase the bond you have with all the party members involved in the chat. The big difference is thatParty Chats only show up on the minimap. So, you won’t find them listed on the overview map.

Keep your eye on the minimap at all times, and you will inevitably see one of those green dialogue boxes that indicates there is a Party Chat nearby. One thing to keep in mind is thatonce that Party Chat indicator pops up on the minimap, it will stay there.
