You won’t get far at a decent clip inEiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroesunless you’ve got the right gear. An item calledDash Bootsis available mercifully early into the game, but you won’t wield it for the first hour or two, nor will you know where to find the accessory until you stumble upon it firsthand.

Unless, of course, you read on. But better than the Dash Boots, albeit less quickly available, isthe support character Aire. Once you’ve got her, you’ll often have her set as your support - just trust us on that one.

Where To Find Dash Boots In Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

You’ll need to take things not-so-nice and slow until you reach theAbandoned Mines, a dungeon you’ll traverse upon receiving the job to bring down bandits.

This occursafter Nowa is made acting captain and you’ve acquired at least three alliesin Grum county. Once you’ve reached the Abandoned Mine, you won’t have the Dash Boots untilthe third and final section of the dungeon.

You’ll find them inthe west-most chestof this particular zone within the Abandoned Mine, shortly before the boss fightagainst the three bandits. To equip them, head to the menu and give them to a party member in the accessory slot.

Notably,Nowa doesn’t need to be the one wearing themso long assomeonein your active party has them equipped. Don’t forget that you can always temporarily eplace them with a different accessory if you need everyone to bring their best against a tougher boss encounter.

Should you happen to forget who’s lugging them around, check the rest of the party members at the castle (once you have it), an inn,or anywhere else that lets you change up your squad. There may be further sources of Dash Boots later in Eiyuden Chronicle; we’ll update you if so.

Where To Find Aire

We found Aireafter entering the Eastern Desert, but we hadn’t checked Hishahn for new recruits, especially closelyfollowing the war stage there. In other words,Aire may be available a bit sooner than the Eastern Desert.

It’d be great if so - definitely check. You see, once Aire’s been recruited, her support ability doubles your movement speed. This is, in fact, even faster than the Dash Boots… and it doesn’t eat up an accessory slot. (Just a support slot. But those tend to matter less.)

Regardless, you’ll find Aire in Hishahn, outsideand at thesouthwest sectionof the city. Chat her up, and she’ll want torace across Hishahn. You’ll enter a one-time mini-game of sorts.

We know it’s possible to lose, since one of us here at TheGamer did. The other one - me - won in a single attempt. As you might imagine, though, losing just means you should challenge her again. Our other player tried again after losing and won, so… yeah. Just keep at it!
