Comprised of five distinct regions, each with its own narrative, you’ll uncover how the curse has affected the inhabitants of these areas. As you journey back to New Eden Town, you’ll unravel the mystery of the curse while also preparing yourself to confront the Nightmare.
Obtaining new equipment is essential for bolstering your strength before facing the Nightmare, and one of the avenues to acquire it is through locked chests scattered throughout the map. Each chest requires a specific key to unlock, granting you access to powerful gear that will aid you on your journey.
Where To Find The Atherton’s Cache Chest
The Atherton’s Cacheis situatedin the Harrows region, located in the southern part of the map. As you advance through the storyline in this area, you’ll eventually arrive atan Old Mill, and your starting point will be the shelter there, called theMill’s House.
Exiting the shelter,progress towards the right, thendescend the stairsandcontinue southuntil you reach a wall where you can climb down. After descending,follow the left sideuntil you encounter a jumping spot.Leap to the other side, andto the left, you’ll discover a corpse next tothe Atherton’s Cache Chest.
Where To Find The Atherton’s Cache Key
The key for The Atherton’s Cache Chest can be easily missed if you’re not paying attention. From the chest location,continue forwardand jump to the other side of the road. Keep progressing forward until youreach the shore of the beach.
Descend to the shore and you’ll spota broken wooden carriage not far from you.
Approach the carriage and you’ll finda small box on it. Interact with the box tocollect the Key to the Atherton’s Cache.
Now, simply backtrack to the chest location anduse the key to unlock it, allowing you to obtain your new equipment.
