How To Grow Summer Squash
to grow a Summer Squash plant, you’ll need three things:a hoe, Summer Squash seeds, and a watering can.
Once you have all three of these items, you’ll need topick a spot to plant your seeds in.
The best place to set up your farm is beside orclose to a water source. That way, you won’t have to go too far in order torefill your watering can, especially when you’rewatering several plots of land.
ensure the spot you’ve picked iscleared of any obstructions. Use an axe to get rid ofbranches and treesin the area. Use a pickaxe toremove stones and boulders. Use a sickle to cut downfibers and wild grass.
Upgrading your tools will enable you toclear out sturdier types of wood and rock.
When you have a clear area on your farm, you canuse your hoe to till a plot of land. An upgraded hoe will be able to till multiple plots of land at once.
One optional thing you may do is tofertilize your farm plot. You can use Basic, Quality, or Deluxe Fertilizer toincrease the quality of your harvest. Another type of fertilizer is Speed-Gro, but it willnot reduce the time between harvests for multi-harvest crops. Summer Squash is a multi-harvest crop, and it will only experience a speed boostduring the maturing stages.
Once you have a tilled plot of land, whether it’s fertilized or not, you can begin tosow your Summer Squash seeds. Take note that one seed bag willonly take up one plot of tilled land.
After you plant your seeds, you’ll need toensure that the plot of land is wateredin order for your Summer Squash to grow properly. Watering your farm plots will ensure thatthey stay watered for the rest of the day.
