InDisney Dreamlight Valley, all the villagers live in harmony. As the ruler of Dreamlight Valley, it’s your job to make sure that continues. Because you work so hard, some of the villagers want to give back and help out. One such villager is Sulley.
Sulley wants to host a contest for Villager of the Month, honoring the hard work they all do to make the village a better place. However, some of them will need help with their projects. It’s up to you to assist them and make the valley a better place for everyone to live in together.
This quest branches off into three separate quests that all connect, but this guide includes them all!
How To Unlock Villager Of The Month
Once youreach level four friendship with Sulley, you’ll unlock the Villager of the Month quest.Speak to Sulleyto start it, and he’ll tell you his idea to foster community in the village. There are three people already working on projects:
Each of these characters isworking on a projectto improve the valley, and Sulley wants you tobe their assistant. This will help get the projects done andkeep Sulley an impartial judge.
You can help any of the candidates in any order!
Villager Of The Month - Ursula
Surprisingly, Ursula has a great idea for reaching out to other villagers. She wants tocustomize perfumes for different villagers, though she’ll need you tocraft the perfumes. To do so, you’ll need the following materials:

Crafting Station
Once you’vegathered the materials, head to your Crafting Station to startcrafting the Perfume of the Sea Enchantment. Bring them to Ursula, who will add the secret ingredients. From there, Ursula will ask that you deliver the perfumes to the following villagers:
Delivering each one serves a purpose for Ursula aside from being nice, but it’s the thought that counts. Each person appreciates the gift (with the exception of Merlin, who refuses to open it).Return to Ursulato wrap up this quest and move on to helping the next candidate.
Villager Of The Month - Donald
Donald has decided to clean up trash on the beach. When you talk to him, he asks you totake pictures of himclearing away the trash. Lead the way to Dazzle Beach and find the different piles of trash. You’ll need totake three pictures of Donaldwith the trash.
Duplicate photos count towards the three total if you’re in a hurry!
After you take the pictures,talk with Donald. He’ll leave to do some editing and task you with clearing away the trash yourself. There areeight piles of trashspread across the entirety of the beach.Dig it upwith your Royal Shovel to remove it.
Once the work is done,talk to Donald again. He’ll hand over the altered photos and send you to Sulley.Bring the Photo of Donald to Sulley and tell him whatever you’d like. He sees what Donald did and can figure out what happened for himself. This wraps up this specific project, and you canmove on to another candidate.
Villager Of The Month - Mike
Mike’s project is to impress Sulley withHodgepodge à la Monstropolis, a meal you’ll need to prepare. To get ready for it, you’ll need to plant andharvest two of eachof the following:Carrots, Corn, and Bell Peppers.
For the most efficient way to complete this quest, you canstart with Mike Wazowski’s projectand help the others while the crops grow.
Once you’ve harvested the ingredients,return to Mikewith them in your inventory. He’s disgusted by the fresh vegetables andsends you to Remyto get his usual order. When you talk to Remy, he reveals that he normallyprepares meals for Mike with Fresh Compost.
There aretwo piles of Fresh Compostfor you to collect around the restaurant, so keep and eye out for them. Once you’ve found them,cook two bowls of Hodgepodge à la Monstropolisat a stove.
You’ll be able tomake exactly two bowlsof it using all the ingredients you’ve gathered so far. Once you’ve made the dish,bring it to Miketo complete his project. If there’s any other candidate to help out next, feel free to assist them.
Villager Of The Month Ceremony
After you’ve helped everyone, Sulley has made a decision. However, the winner is not Mike. Sulley asks you tobreak the news to Mikegently, so talk to Mike before Sulley announces the winner. Once that’s done,talk to Sulleyagain.
With the winner selected, you canplace the Villager-of-the-Month Award Standanywhere you want in the valley totake a group photo. Once it’s placed, the ceremony commences.Talk to Sulleyone last time to wrap up this quest andkeep the award as a decoration.
