Chapter 5 Season 2 ofFortniteis here, and with it is a whole new group of NPCs to either recruit or purchase items from. Some of these NPCs we’ve seen before in the past, while a few are new to the game. Recruiting NPCs gives you and your squad the necessary backup in fights, while the items you buy from NPCs can mean the difference between elimination and victory.
With so many NPCs on the map, you may have trouble remembering where they are, and what services they provide. We’ve broken it down for you here, and we even have a map that shows you where you can find every NPC.

What Are NPCs?
As you explore and discover everything that the new season brought to the game, we highly recommendchecking out the NPCsas well. Though some of them are old friends, theymay offer something newthat they didn’t in the past.
Every NPC comes with itsown set of skillsto help you and your squad, but there aretwo distinct categoriesof NPCs you’ll find in Fortnite:Recruitable and Non-Recruitable.

Every Recruitable NPC Location And The Services They Provide
A recruitable NPC willbecome an extra teammatethat fights alongside you. In a duo, trio, or squad match, they can also be sent torevive a teammatethat’s been knocked down.
Some of these NPCs also have other services that set them apart. Here are the different types ofrecruitable NPCs you’ll find:
East of Rebel’s Roost, in the forest

These NPCssell various items, such as guns, heals, or movement items. Prices range from about125 to 300 Gold Bars, depending on what it is.
While youaren’t able to hireany of these to join your team, they can still provide valuable assistance to your match.
