Diamond Matrons are found during the story levelsTemple Rooftops, the Upper Temple, and the Lower TempleofLast Epoch.These are located around the Maj’elka region in theDivine Era.This might be preferable to farming Diamond Matrons inMonolithsbecause they can be tricky to find, with the Echoes randomized in terms of mob spawns and number of Diamond Matrons.
That being said,Diamond Matronsdo spawn inMonolithsin these locations:The Age Of Winter, The Stolen Lance, Ending The Storm,andReign Of Dragonsgiving you a pretty large spread of Monoliths to encounter the Matrons in.
Diamond Matrons Farming Location
Diamond Matrons are found in theMaj’Elka Regionin theDivine Era.You will explore here during the main questline, and you can travel back to these areas to farm forDiamond Matrons easily.
We had the best luck atThe Upper Temple, as there are three Diamond Matron spawns close to the waypoint.
Upper Temple Farming Spots
There are three spawn points for Diamond Matrons in theUpper Temple,highlighted on the map above.
You can race through these three spots quickly if you’re at a high level, and you can rinse and repeat the level by resetting it - just teleport to another waypoint, and then back into theUpper Temple.This will reset the map.
Circle Of Fortune
This should make the Circle Of Fortune Prophecies for defeatingDiamond Matronsmuch easier.
We found that trying to hunt down Diamond Matrons inMonolithstook a long time, and that’s fine if you just want to passively complete aProphecy- but if you’re trying to target a specific reward and rush there quickly, it’s better to farm the Matrons in the Upper Temple.
In some cases, the Prophecy will have a condition that Diamond Matrons must be slain inMonoliths- so you will have to try your luck inThe Age Of Winter, The Stolen Lance, Ending The Storm,andReign Of Dragons.There is no way to guarantee that Diamond Matrons spawn in any of these Echoes, so you will have to explore the map as normal and hope for a spawn.
