Genshin Impactis known for having various collectibles whenever they release a new area. Whenever a new region is released, the main collectible comes in the form of the Oculi of that region, which also allows you to upgrade the Statues of the Seven and get various rewards including Shrine keys.
However, you may also find various smaller collectibles like the symphonies for the music box while you’re exploring the Sea of Bygone Eras. You only have to find six of these, but they’re scattered quite well in the area, making them hard to find.
Number One: Locus Amoenus Location
The first symphony will be the easiest one to find, and it’ll also likely be the reason you’re looking for the rest sincethis is where you learn about the Music Box and its symphonies. To get this, you simply have to start the main World Quest in the Nostoi Region of Fontaine.
In this, you have to progress up until the little cat takes you to the underground passageway, and he’ll give you the Music Box in between. After getting the Music Box and its first symphony, you canfind both of them in the Quest Items section of your inventory.
Number Two: Tuba Mirum Location
You’ll find the second symphony in the Faded Castle, alittle to the left of where you got the Music Box on the map. As you reach the location, you’ll see a giant harp with a Luxurious Chest behind it. You have to activate the harp andgo through a small minigameto get the chest.
After claiming the chest, you can interact with the harp again and claim the symphony. If you follow the main story,this area will also unlock your passage to the Sea of Bygone Eras, which is where you’ll find the rest of these collectibles.
Number Three: Rex Tremendae Location
To get to the next symphony, you’ll have to find the Portus Anticus area,which is one of the hidden areas in the Sea of Bygone Eras. You can get to it by following the path going upward to the north of Initium Iani on the map.
You’ll find the passage leading into the area right beside the Teleport Waypoint. Go through the wateruntil you find the cave and follow the path going upward here. You’ll see the giant harp guarded by one soldier here.
Number Four: Dies Irae Location
The fourth symphony can be found in the Caesareum Palace area, but you have to work for this one. You can get to this place by following the path to the southwest of Initium Iani,and it will lead to another area with no water. However, the way forward will be blocked by a seal.
You canget rid of this sealby interacting with the soldier statue and going through a big battle. Once past this seal, you’ll find theharp sitting on the other side among some Luxurious and Precious Chests.
Number Five: Confutatis Location
When you first get to the Sea of Bygone Eras,you’ll find out that the right side of the region is blocked. The only way to get to it is by continuing the main world quest until you can free Scylla, the whale, from her shackles. It will then take you to this area.
Once you get here, you can follow thepath going beneath Clivus Capitolinus in the southern part of the map. This will lead you to another non-water area where you’ll see the harp instantly. However, there will be alocal legend standing between you and the collectible.
Number Six: Lacrimosa Location
Getting the final symphony is as easy as getting the first one. You simply have tokeep progressing the main world quest until the end. You’ll eventually be teleported back to the village above water, granting you the symphony once the cutscene ends.
You can get 20Primogemfor each symphony you find, bringing the total to120 free gacha currency through this method.
