While it’s possible to walk across the island inSons of the Forest, it would take much longer and be more dangerous than using many of the transportation methods offered to you. One of the more prominent is golf carts, which can be a great way to transport half your team at once.

While you’ll need to eventually charge the batteries, it’s not hard to find enough golf carts for everyone on your team to have one and then some. Thankfully, there are a few guaranteed places you can look that will spawn golf carts no matter where you are on the island.

Where To Get A Golf Cart

There aremore than a few golf cartsaround the island, withmany of the main paths having multiplealong long stretches. You cansee them on the map via a blue pulsing steering wheelicon when you get close enough. This means thatthe golf cart is drivableand within a close distance.

You can alsofind golf cart batterieshidden in the backs of broken-down white golf carts, usually near active ones.

If you want a guaranteed location to find a golf cart, then you shouldgo to the northwest section of the map. Thereyou’ll find a golf course that has multiple golf cartsas well as a few GPS locators, a Putter, and other useful gear.

Golf carts can be guardedor placed near cannibal camps, sobe wary of any close dangerswhen you go to pick up a new one. You may be ambushed.

The only thing you need to do to drive a golf cart is toapproach the driver’s side and press the prompted buttonto get into the vehicle. You’ll thendrive by holding the ‘Forward’ button on the keyboardor the’Right Trigger' when using a controller. There are three extra seats for allies.

You canplay songs or turn the radio off while in the golf cartby looking down and pressing the prompted button.

You can alsomove the golf cart with the prompted buttonwhen you approach the bumpers from the front or back, which isuseful for moving the cartout of bad spots. Thebattery can drainand even die, butthe solar panel on the top can charge itover time.

Keepingmultiple carts at your baseor useful places on the island canensure you always have a charged vehicleto use.
