Disney Dreamlight Valleylets you create your own village with your favorite Disney and Pixar characters. you may unlock various characters and bring them to your village, giving them a home and building friendships with them. These friendships result in new rewards and quests for you to complete.
One thing you choose early in the game is the name of your character. With the release of The Laugh Floor Update, you can now change your name whenever you’d like, allowing you to select seasonal names or use nicknames after the initial naming decision. However, there won’t be a pop-up telling you how to do this.
How To Change Your Name
If you’re growing tired of your name in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can change it! There’sno pop-up or tutorialto tell you how to do this, but it’s a new featureadded in The Laugh Floor update.
To change your name,open the main menu and go to Settings. Select the Help tab, then Change Avatar Name.
The option to change your name in Disney Dreamlight Valley isbetween the options to save to the cloud and import your avatar!
While you can change your name at any time, youmust have at least two charactersin your name. This feature allows you to add seasonal flair to your name, honorifics, or any fun titles you’d like.
Try renaming your character to see if you like the new name. If youchange your mindagain, you may always return to the Settings menu andchange the name back. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like there areany limits to how many times you can change your namein Disney Dreamlight Valley.
None of the characters will comment on your name change, though it will take effect immediately.
