Even though there is an entire open world to explore and gather rare resources, your base, more often than not, demands a lot of attention and time. That is why you need pals with better Work Speed stats to help with managing time after assigning them crafting and building tasks.
What Is Work Speed
Work Speed is one of the five character stats in the game that you may invest points in and level up. Every time you level up this stat, you will get apermanent 50-point gainin it.
Whenever youcraft an item on the bench or buildsomething at the base, thegame shows you the total time to completion. The time it takes, whether minutes or seconds, depends on your character’s Work Speed stat.
Ahigher stat upgradeinvestment will ensure all tasks that require standing and hammering down are completed quickly.
What Work Speed Affects
Pals also have a Work Speed stat that affects the time to complete certain tasks in the game. There are a lot ofcraftingandbuildingactivities, includingplanting, watering, harvesting, cooling, andkindling, that are directly affected by the Pals Work Speed stat.
A Pal with a lower Work Speed stat and level will take longer to complete an assigned task. On the other hand, if you have a higher-level Pal with a higher Work Speed stat number, the completion time turns from minutes to seconds.
For example, if you assign a1,000 workload taskto a Pal with70 Work SpeedandHandiwork level one, itwill take about 20 minutesto complete. On the other hand, a 70 Work Speed butlevel four HandiworkPal will complete the same workload inonly 46 seconds.
How To Reinvest Points Into Work Speed
If you have never spent a skill point on the Work Speed of your character, then you will be at a disadvantage after unlocking higher-level building and crafting items.
Building items and crafting things like industrial weapon ammunition will be a painfully slow process. Luckily, there is a quick solution thatresets all the skill points you investedin five character stats in the game.
You needMemory Wiping Medicine to reset statsand get a chance to invest more skill points into Work Speed.
Crafting this medicine item requires you tobuild the Electric Medicine Workbench first, and this option can only beunlocked once you reach Level 43in Technology Tree.
Aftercrafting and placing the Electric Medicine Workbenchin your base, you will need to gather materials to create the required item. You’ll need the following items tocreate one Memory Wiping Medicine.
