Magic The Gathering Fallout Commander Deck – Mutant Menace

Magic is about to get a little crytid with the Mutant Menace deck. You can dominate the battlefield wth a bunch of powerful, radiated monsters or mill them out with the new radiation mechanic.

Straight from the mountains of Appalachia comes a knowledgeable and benevolent being, known to many as The Wise Mothman, the main commander of the deck Mutant Menace. This black, green, and blue deck takes some of the stranger, and more supernatural elements of the Fallout world and brings them together under one banner.

Magic The Gathering Fallout Commander Deck - Scrappy Survivors

Mutants, proliferation, and a new type of counter called rad counter, which can do some very silly things in a game of Commander. The radiation mechanic works by giving players rad counters, which make you mill cards equal to the number of counters you have. You then lose a life and a rad counter for each nonland card you milled away. When you pile up tons of rad counters on your opponents, through creatures, spells, and proliferation effects, you can drain your opponents of life and get rid of some of their most powerful cards.

Magic The Gathering Fallout Commander Deck - Scrappy Survivors

You’ll never venture out to the battlefield alone again when you’re with Dogmeat and his Scrappy Survivors deck. You’ll get to load up your creatures with plenty of Auras and Equipment to push them past your opponent’s board.

The goodest boy around, even in the nuclear wasteland that remains of Massachusetts. Dogmeat, Ever Loyal is the main commander of the deck and works to buff either himself or another one of your creatures will all the accessories and addons you could need. The deck is designed around powering up a single creature or two with a ton of Auras or Equipments, reaping extra benefits from your creatures when you then attack with them.

Magic The Gathering Fallout Commander Deck - Hail, Caesar

The deck is full of unique auras and equipment, of course, with cards like Idolized, which grants the enchanted creature +X/+X when the enchanted creature attacks alone, with X being the total of other nonland permanents you control. you may quickly powerup a creature to tremendous heights with just card alone.

Another mechanic coming in the deck are Junk tokens, a new type of artifact token that lets you sacrifice it to exile the top card of your deck. You can then play that card this turn only, once the turn ends you lose the card to exile forever. Giving you extra ways to draw cards is something that the color combination of red, green, and white always needs so ensure you’re stockpiling that Junk for a good use.

Fallout: New Vegas introduced a ton of fantastic new characters to the Fallout Universe, with one of the most memorable ones being Caesar. Magic The Gathering - Fallout Collector Booster Box

The deck is designed around an aristocrats theme, taking your creatures and then sacrificing them for added effects. Caesar, Legion’s Emperor is the leader of the deck, which is fitting, and has this mechanic build right into his card. As you spread your army across the board, you may slowly whittle away your opponents with cards like Bastion of Remembrance or Pitiless Plunderer to keep up on mana.

Technology got the world into this mess, so now it’ll help put everything right. The Science! deck takes all the technological innovations of the world and unties them in one cause, winning the game.

Moving humanity forward is Dr. Madison Li, from the Science! Commander deck, taking the best blue, white, and red cards around to help rebuild the world. With all the advances in technology, your cards are better than ever, relying on the energy mechanic to generate tons of power and card advantage.

Dr. Madison Li generates these Energy counters anytime you cast an artifact spell, letting you do one of three of her activated abilities if you have enough energy to pay for them. As expected, there’s a heavy artifact theme in the deck, with a bunch of cool cards for synths and other pre-war robots that still function.

A box comes with 12 Collector Booster packs, with each pack holding 15 cards. A special returning feature exclusive to the Collector Boosters are surge foil cards, a special and hard-to-find foiling process that gives your cards a special wavey effect.

There’s a slim possibility that you could open a serialized card as well from these collector Booster packs, though you shouldn’t count your bottlecaps before you open the pack. A little more likely are the Borderless Vault Boy variants. These cards are a special selection of nine cards that feature artwork with the Vault Boy on them. Some of the cards are reprints from the Commander decks, while some are exclusive only to the Collector Boosters.
