FromSoftware’s Soulsborne games are no stranger to massive monsters, horrifying creatures, and outright unfair enemies. Every game in the series is filled to the brim with enemies like these, often becoming a roadblock, either literally or figuratively, in your journey.
If you’ve ever come across one of these giant monsters in a Soulsborne game and wondered if there was anything bigger out there, we’ve got you covered. From Demon’s Souls to Elden Ring, let’s take a look at the biggest creature you can find in every Soulsborne game.

Biggest Creature In Demon’s Souls
Dragon God
The game that kickstarted the Soulsborne franchise,Demon’s Soulsis home to more than a few massive enemies. The main antagonist of the game, The Old One, is a mass of trees and plants, that resides on an entire island, but even that isn’t the biggest creature in the game.
Instead, that title goes to the Dragon God, a massive, 100-foot-tall dragon that you fight in the Underground Temple. The Dragon God boss fight is more of a puzzle than an actual fight, mainly due to its size, forcing you to hide behind pillars and utilize ballista in the area to take down this demon.

Biggest Creature In Dark Souls
Ceaseless Discharge
There are quite a few large enemies inDark Souls; the seven-headed Hydra, the Gaping Demon, and Bed of Chaos (if you count all its roots), to name a few. But, the biggest enemy in Dark Souls is Ceaseless Discharge, an amalgam of flesh and lava that is found in the Demon Ruins.
Interestingly, Ceaseless Discharge is not initially hostile towards you, only beginning its attack after you loot the Gold-Hemmed Black Set nearby. Plus, you’re only trying to defeat the Ceaseless Discharge to stop the lava from flowing and allow you access to deeper parts of the ruins. In this sense, Ceaseless Discharge is literally a massive roadblock preventing your progress.

Biggest Creature In Dark Souls 2
Ancient Dragon
The biggest creature you can find inDark Souls 2is the Ancient Dragon. This massive dragon is located atop the Dragon Shrine, and is actually neutral towards the player, meaning you don’t have to fight it if you don’t want to. When you approach the dragon, you have the option to talk to it, or you can just start swinging.
Whether you choose to fight or talk to the Ancient Dragon, you’ll get the Ashen Mist Heart, an item that lets you visit the memories of several dead characters throughout the world.

Biggest Creature In Dark Souls 3
“Mother Dragon” - The Archdragon of Archdragon Peak
The largest creature inDark Souls 3isn’t technically one you can fight, and it’s not even alive, but its size dwarfs everything else in the game, including massive monsters like Darkeater Midir or the Curse-Rotted Greatwood. The biggest enemy in Dark Souls 3 is the titular Archdragon found atop Archdragon Peak, nicknamed the Mother Dragon.
The Mother Dragon is found dead atop the largest peak in the mountain range, and can only be seen from a distance. This dragon is supposedly part of cut content, for an area called Gods Grave, but it didn’t end up making it into the final game. Instead, we can only admire the size of this creature from Archdragon Peak.

Biggest Creature In Bloodborne
Amygdala
The biggest enemy inBloodborneis the Amygdala. This optional boss, located in the Nightmare Frontier, is actually part of a group of monsters, some of which are non-hostile towards the player. These spider-like creatures' heads loosely resemble the human brain and brain stem, leading to the name Amygdala.
You can also find hostile Amygdala in the Lower Loran and Isz Graves Chalice Dungeons. In battle, they use large sweeping attacks, and can fire lasers from their eyes if you come at them head-on.

Biggest Creature In Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Great Serpent
Sekirois pretty different from other Soulsborne games in that most of the enemies you face are human or nearly-human-sized. The biggest creature you may find in Sekiro is actually near the start of the game: the Great Serpent.
Similar to the Dragon God in Demon’s Souls, the Great Serpent acts as more of a puzzle than a boss fight. To defeat it, you need to sneak around and deliver Deathblows while staying hidden from this massive snake.

Biggest Creature In Elden Ring
Elder Dragon Greyoll
Continuing the trend of massive dragons, the largest creature in the Lands Between is Elder Dragon Greyoll. This dragon is found in Caelid, and is surrounded by five lesser dragons. In fact, Greyoll doesn’t actually fight you herself; she doesn’t even get up when you start attacking her, instead sending the lesser dragons after you.
There are several massive creatures inElden Ring, like the Elden Beast, Fire Giant, Rykard, or a few of the other dragons like Lichdragon Fortissax or Dragonlord Placidusax. Still, none of these compare in size to Greyoll, although it is a bit disappointing that Greyoll doesn’t have an actual boss fight.
