With New Game Plus saves of Persona 3 Reload, you’ll carry over the bulk of your items from the last time, including your player level, any work you put in toward completing your Compendium, your costumes, and so much more. Players who chose Merciless difficulty, though, may be in for quite the surprise.
What Can You Bring Into New Game Plus In Persona 3 Reload?
Everything listed in the table below will be added to your New Game Plus save for P3R upon launching a new game with your Clear Data.
Everything That Carries Over To NG+ For Persona 3 Reload
Total Playtime
The time you finish with for your Clear Data is the time you’ll start with in NG+.
The Compendium
Any Persona you’ve loggedin the Compendiumcan be purchased from the start in NG+. They’ll appear as they were registered in your original data, with any changed stats from Incense or Arcade visits.
Your Level and Stats
Not only does your protagonist’s player level carry into NG+, but any bonus gains you made toward your HP/SP fromMajor Arcana cards,Linked Episodes, and more.
Certain Teammate Stats
While their exact level doesn’t carry over, any boosts your teammates gained like yours listed above will be brought into your new save.
Social Stats
When you first begin your NG+ save, you’ll have thesocial stat rankingsyou ended the original run with. If you maxed everything then, it’s one less thing to worry about in NG+.
Your Inventory and Money
You’ll begin your NG+ run of Persona 3 Reload with all the items, skill cards,gear, and money you finished with originally.
Social Link Souvenirs
Any items unlocked for maxingyour social linksthat allow Ultimate Persona fusions carry over, but your social link with that character still begins at Rank One upon first meeting them in-game.
Christmas Gifts
Entering a “special relationship” with a female social link allows you to spend time with them on Christmas, and the Christmas gift they give you carries over.
Any unspentTwilight Fragmentscarry into your NG+ file.
Merciless Mode Offers Little For NG+
The only exception to everything we’ve listed above, though, comes if you’ve chosen to play your original run of Persona 3 Reload onMercilessdifficulty setting, the most advanced of the five difficulty settings in P3R. This mode is often recommended only for veterans of the series who know the gameplay inside and out.
Should you finish the game on Merciless mode, your Clear Data only brings thecostumesand a couple keepsakes (like your Christmas gifts from girlfriends) over into a new save. You won’t be getting any mercy in your Merciless NG+.
