As you complete adventures with your Pawns across the lands of Vermund and beyond inDragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll likely notice many exclamation points on the map near you when your pawns point something out. These Points of Interest are things you can interact with that you might otherwise miss, with your pawns often drawing your attention to them.
While there isn’t any guarantee of what your Pawns are pointing out, it’s usually something that can be broken or used to further your goals. Your best opportunity for figuring out what each POI is to either listen to your Pawns or seek out these hidden locations, specifically.

Points Of Interest, Explained
APoint of Interest is a generic termin Dragon’s Dogma 2 torefer to interactivesor things you might otherwise not see during your adventures. One of themore common examplesin cities and crowded areas is ladders,which usually lie out of easy reachand require some clever maneuvers.
As with quest objectives,you can order a Pawn to ‘Go!‘when they call out a Point of Interest andthey will attempt to help you retrieve or accessthe item.

For example, aPawn that has the ‘Levitate’ spellcanreacha chestthat you might not be able to.
However,ladders are far from the only thingyour Pawns will point out as a POI that might interest you. Some other examples include:

Thebiggest thing you can take awaywhen you see an exclamation point in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is thatyour Pawn has seen somethingthat you may be interested in. Keep in mind thatthese exclamation points can sometimes persistafter you’ve explored the area to remind you it’s there.
Some of these areas will be hard to reach, which means you’ll need toget creativeif you wantto find out what the exclamation point istrying to draw your attention to. Sometimes this will meanusing creative plansto get to higher levels orusing the environment around the POI to your benefit.

How To Interact With Points of Interest
How you interact with the POI largely depends on what it is, with some being more obvious than others. Everyone knows that you canclimb a ladderorpush a boulder, but you might be unsure the first time you finda locked door. If youcan’t pick up or interact with itby pressing a button,consider trying to hit ita few good times.
In cases where you candestroy a bridge or another structureyou need,you’ll have to wait a few daysbefore it’s rebuilt again.
In caves and similar enclosed areas,you can usually find items aroundthat can help you break through a stone boulderor a hidden pathto get behind a locked door.
