Congratulations on finishingSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s campaign; you’re in the endgame now. Rocksteady and Warner Bros. have committed to supporting the game in the long term, which means plenty of quests and activities will be added after its initial launch.
Whilethe first new playable character and the rest of season one’s content have already been revealed, there are post-story missions available now that will tide you over until the next big update. These missions are referred to as Elseworld incursions and give you the opportunity to acquire high-end loot to outfit Task Force X with.

What Are Elseworlds Missions?
Elseworlds missions (also referred to as incursions) are very similar to the quests you experienced in the campaign but with some twists.Instead of taking place in the familiar open world of Metropolis, you’re transported to an alternate universewhere the city has already been destroyed, leaving you with new terrain to contend with.
The missions will also have modifiers, altering the properties of the arena or enemies and making them more difficult as you increase your mastery levels. These modifiers can be examined in the nexus menu, so you know what challenges you will be facing.

What Are Mastery Levels?
Mastery levels are how you adjust the difficulty of incursions. You start each endgame mission at mastery level one, and each time you complete them, you receive rewards, and your nexus rank will increase.
Completing all the incursions at the highest available mastery level will unlock further mastery levels to play the missions onand allow you to continue advancing your nexus rank.

How To Get Endgame Loot
Score some sweet endgame loot by Grinding these missions to increase mastery levels and nexus rank.As you continue to increase your nexus rank, more powerful weapons and gear will become available, with the highest tier of items unlocking at nexus rank 60.
Once youpass certain rank thresholds, that tier of gear will be available as a rewardfor completing incursions.

Grinding to the highest nexus rank is the hardest part of the endgame experience, but targeting the type of rewards you want is quite easy. Each incursion tells you what type of loot you can expect from them.
One gives you firearms, another drops neck bomb mods, and lucky charms, while the last supplies shields and grenades.
What Are Notorious And Infamous Gear?
Notorious Gear
This may seem like a lot of grinding for in-game rewards, butthis isn’t just any gear you’re working for; it has unique effects no other items can utilize. Notorious gear is based on a villain from the DC Comics pantheon, usually with a unique design that shows off its connection to the character.
Along with augments, notorious items have an extra ability attached to them that cannot be altered or removed, serving as an additional bonus for your loadout.
Infamous Gear
Infamous gear is just like their notorious counterparts, excepthaving multiple items from a single villain set equipped will activate even more powerful effects. Not only does one piece of infamous gear gift its own bonus, butequipping two unlocks anotherand havingthree will stack an additional effect.
The best endgame loadouts will make use of notorious and infamous gear to add even more abilities to your character’s repertoire.
