Almost everything you could imagine has been turned into a Squishmallow. From animals to food and drink, there are countless squishy characters to collect. Becoming more and more popular all the time, a few big franchises have teamed up with Jazwares to bring some famous characters to the world of Squishmallows, andPokemonhas been the biggest so far. The next Squishmallow in the Pokemon collection hasalready been confirmed to be Dragonite, and we might now know when we can try and buy one.
PokemonDealsTCG shared that a Walmart listing for the Dragonite Squishmallow briefly went live, revealing when pre-orders for the toy might go live. The page going live was presumably an accident as it has since disappeared. It also stated pre-orders will go live in April and the Squishmallow will ship in May. This is the second time info about the Dragonite Squishmallow has been revealed early asplans for it were leaked by a Danish retailer, also thanks to a premature store listing.
The Squishamallow seemingly being confirmed for an April pre-order period at Walmart may mean its Pokemon Center listing goes live any day now. Pokemon Squishmallows tend to start live as Pokemon Center exclusives. 12-inch versions of every Pokemon Squishmallow to date have been released on the Pokemon Center before bigger and smaller versions without the Pokemon Center badge sewn onto them are made available through other retailers, Walmart included.
There have been eight Pokemon Squishmallows so far, not including Dragonite, andfour of them are in stock at the Pokemon Centerright now. The four newest ones - Clefairy, Teddiursa, Winking Pikachu, and Piplup. Likely an indicator that Pokemon has been more prepared for its Squishmallows' popularity with the last few releases rather than them not being as popular. The first four, particularly Gengar and Togepi, remain notoriously hard to find.
The original Dragonite Squishmallow leak also included a Marill Squishmallow listing, but there has still not been any confirmation that Marill is next in line to get a Squishmallow. It would make a lot of sense though as Marill’s shape makes it perfect Squishmallow fodder. While you wait for Dragonite, and potentially Marill, Pokemon recently releaseda line of Sweet Support plushes, pairing Pokemon up with their baby versions and attaching them via a retractable string.
