Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s side quests tend to surprise us in some pretty unexpected ways. There is arguably no greater example of this than ‘The Saga of Seaside Inn’, which is nonstop funny all the way through - but for the purposes of this guide, we’re covering its biggest surprise.
Suddenly, FF7 Rebirth has a whopping 88 (!) Curios to collect and deliver to our best bro, Johnny. If you can manage to find at least 60, you’ll earn a trophy. You’ll also get a neat prize for pulling it all off, plus lore for every piece. Here’s where to find ‘em all.
How To Unlock Curios
Perhaps ‘unlocking Curios’ is a bit of a misnomer. After all,Curios consist of many of of your Key Items, which means you will begin acquiring them long before you can unlock them as a gameplay mechanic.
But to begindelivering Curios to Johnnyin Costa del Sol and fill up yourTreasure Trove, you will need tocomplete ‘The Saga of Seaside Inn’, which is available fromChapter 6 onward.
Unfortunately, you may’t actuallycompletethe side quest until the end ofChapter 9, when you obtain the desert buggyand can thus cross over into the vast desert portion of the Corel region.
Curio Completion Reward
When (and if!) you manage to obtain all 88 Curios and complete the Treasure Trove,Johnny will reward you with the final piano song.Additionally, you will gain thehardest trophy in the game- at least for our money’s worth it is!

And now for the main event. Your best bro needs you togather 80 Curios and bring them to the Sea Side Inn. Easier said than done, right? And it’s not exactly an easy thing to say, either.
This will be a game-long endeavor, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start turning them in as you find them.With exception to times when fast travel is locked,you can bring more Curios to Johnny whenever you’d like.
