Your grown fish slowly earn you income in real-time. You can significantly accelerate this process with your activity in the game. Let’s explore what you need to pay attention to if you want to quickly make improvements during the process of discovering all the species and get the maximum yield from the fish you can feed in a certain number.
Initial Setup And Purchases
When you begin the game, you will receivefive packages, each containing four fish. You must make mandatory package purchases at the start, which will leave you with $0. It’s advisable to feed all your fish to adulthood, regardless of their rarity, before selling them.
Your fish will become adults after a certain period in real time, but you canaccelerate this processby actively feeding them.
Once you sell your adult fish, you will have a certain amount of money. You can repeat this process until you reach the full capacity of your tank.
To buy new fish, you must haveat least four empty spacesin your tank.
You will receive a “tank is full” warning when selecting a new fish package if you don’t meet this requirement.
Strategies For Locking Fish
When you fill-up the tank in your aquarium, you have the option to sell high-earning adult fish from the top right corner tab. But it’s more beneficial for you to lock them from the same tab andearn passive incomeinstead.
As an alternative method, you can also lock your fish by clicking on them in the tank instead of locking them from the aquarium tab in the top right corner.
As a recommendation, initiallylock six rare or higher rarity fishand regularly increase your $ by selling the remaining common species. If the new and adult species bring in more income than the locked fish, lock the new species and unlock the previously locked ones.
You canview your highest-earning fishby clicking on “sort by income” from the screen where you see all of your aquarium fish.
Feed All Of Your Fish At The Same Time
As your aquarium fills up, your fishwill roam freelythroughout the tank. Placing food by clickingmay not attractall of their attention, or some may be eaten by others before they can reach it.
You can continuously feed by holding down the right mouse button.
It is important to remember that yoursnails may not be able to reachmost of the food since they cannot swim. To ensure they can eat, you shouldlower all of your other fish to the level of the snailsat the bottom of the tank. you’re able to do this by gathering each inhabitant in your tank in theright or left corner of the bottomand feeding them.
As your tank capacity increases, don’t worry if some fish don’t join the feeding frenzy. If your feeding frenzy comprises90 percent of your tank,it won’t slow down your earnings.
Maximize Your Earnings By Selling
As time passes, your school will begin to mature. To sell them, click the red-colored’Sell all unlocked fish' buttonin the top right aquarium tab.
Sell your adult fish at certain intervals because every time you do this, your school in the tank will disperse and return to the initial free-roaming state.
Immediately after selling,replenish your tank to its full capacityand gather your school again to feed them.
Automate The Feeding Process
You may not always be present at your aquarium, or you may be tired of continuously clicking to feed. This means your school of baby fish willgain experience slowly. If your mind is on your aquarium and you’re tired,automating the feeding processwould be wise.
To do this, first, open the settings and set your game towindowed mode. Hold down the right mouse button to feed your school to the bottom right or left corner of the tank. When your school gathers at the bottom of the tank, move your cursoroutwards off the windowed screen.
When your cursor goes outside the game,release the right mouse buttonand drag your cursor back to the point where you feed all of your school. Now, you’re automatically feeding, it will continue even if you’re dealing with other things.
If you want to stop the automatic feeding process, simply right-click anywhere in your tank.
Know Your Priorities For Spending Money
Your aquarium is full, and you have enough money topurchase some upgrades.The shop has different categories of items that you can buy to enhance your aquarium experience. If you aim toprogress quickly and discover new species,then you should invest in the most suitable items available.
The most important thing is theincrease in your tank’s capacity. As your tank’s capacity increases, you can host more fish and have a continuously rising income.
Another important upgrade, as crucial as tank capacity, isthe ‘food upgrade.‘Initially, each of your feeds gives your fishfive XP. With each ‘food upgrade,’ your feedspermanently give an additional five XP.
Your feeds start at five XP and can increase up to 30 XP as they evolve.
Pebbles, light, and decorationsdo not provide you with an advantage. They are simply alternatives that you’re able to spend money on to design your aquarium as you like and make it visually appealing to you.
Generate Passive Income With Additional Tanks
If you can afford to open a second tank, it’s time to make a choice. Instead of filling your newly purchased tank with fish packages, efficiently use it by transferring valuable and high-earning species from thefirst tank to the second one.
You had locked and left valuable species you didn’t want to sell. Now, it’s time to transfer them to the second tank. Open the aquarium tab in the top right corner of your screen. Below the XP bar of your locked fish, you will see the text’Switch Tank’.
you’re able to separate your fish as you wish, transferring them from themain tank to the second tank or vice versa. However, since you’ll actively feed your main tank, it’s beneficial to have your high-earning species in the second tank.
You cannot feed two different tanks simultaneously, but all the fish in each tank you own earn XP in real time.
Leave Fish As Adults Before Going Offline
Before you go offline and leave your aquarium, remember this: Ensure that the fish in your main tank arein their adult stateif you’ll be away for an extended period.
You won’t get any yield from the fish you left as babies until you actively feed them again. This is becauseonly your adult fish generate moneyover time.
In a scenario where you may’t earn money through sales, your only income source will be thepassive incomefrom your adult fish.
When you log out and return after a long period, you will see how much passive income your adult fish have generated for you.
In summary, the last action you’ll take before leaving your tank should not be selling butbuying and feedingto turn your baby fish into adults.
