Terrible puns and even more terrible crimes are the focus of the day in this episode ofPhoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice. While The Rite of Turnabout features the joyous reunion between Wright and May Fey, it wouldn’t be a Phoenix Wright case without something grisly to sink our teeth into and a court battle for the ages.
As always, what follows will be a spoiler-free walkthrough that guides you through the minimum steps you need to take to progress through both the investigative portions of the case and the cross-examinations that take place in the courtroom.
Investigation - Day 1
You’ll begin this episode at Tehm’pul Temple - after the introduction, Talk to Ahlbi if you wish, butMove to the Plaza of Devotionto progress and meet up withMaya.Talkto her to kick things off, and after the shocking revelations,Talk to Ema Skye.
You’ll have access to the Detention Center and the Inner Sanctum now -Move to the Inner Sanctumfirst. Examine the girl in the middle of the screen togreet Rayfa, and thenTalkto her. After getting permission to investigate and seemingly picking up a new assistant along the way,Examine the area, looking at the following:
After examining everything,Talk to Rayfaagain. After gathering all the intel you can,Move back to the Plaza of DevotionandTalk to the manwho appears, and thenEmawhen she turns up. When prompted,Move to the DetentionCenter.
Talk to Mayaabout everything, and then Move to the Bazaar andTalk to Ahlbi, and finally,Move to the High Priest’s Houseto meet andBeh’leeb. She’ll leave temporarily - take this time toExamine everything you can in the room.
Once you’ve seen everything you need to, Beh’leeb will return -Talk to her and you’ll be able to Present her with your Magatama to break those Psyche Locks.
After breaking her Psyche Locks, finish Talking to Beh’leeb. The next few sequences will play out pretty much automatically, with you Moving to the Audience Chamber, Detention Center, and Tehm’pul Temple and Talking with Inga, Maya, and Ahlbi before ending the investigation.

Investigation - Day 2
After the shocking scenes,Move to the Plaza of Devotionto investigate the crime scene.Talk to Emafirst, and thenExamine everything you can at the scene. When prompted to move on,Move to the High Priest’s house. Examine theFamily Photojust to the right of the television, thenPresent it to Beh’leeb before Talking to her about every topic she has.
Move to the Detention Center and Talk to Maya. She’ll tell you to pick up something from the High Priest’s House - head there andExamine the Steel Samurai bagon the right.Talk to Rayfaafter getting the Tome of Secrets.
After being moved to the Bazaar,Examine the opened manholeon the left of the screen andPresent the Brand New Flag to Ahlbi.
After the scene, you’ll be in the Rebel Safehouse.Examine everythingyou can in the room, and thenTalk to Datz. When the time comes, Present the Magatama to tackle Datz’s Psyche Locks.
Talk to Datz about everything after breaking his Psyche Locks, thenMove to the Inner Sanctum.
Examine the bird statue once more so that you get a close-up of its eye socket, and then examine it. Present theGolden Orbto unlock the way to the Rebel Hideout - Move there now.Examine everything in the hideoutuntil you’re prompted to leave to Tehm’pul Temple, which will end the investigation.
When prompted to spray the area with Luminol, you need to spray theground at the bottom-right of the screen.

With that final piece of evidence, the trial and the episode are over.
