That doesn’t mean that there isn’t money to be made in the Digimon Card Game. Every booster set includes a special lottery card that goes for quite a bit in the secondary market, and in EX05 Animal Colosseum, there are three different rarities for the mighty MetalGarurumon (X Antibody). Fans of the Digimon PendulumV Petswill love this set.
Prices are based on Market Value onTCGPlayer.comand might fluctuate from time to time.

10MetalGarurumon (X Antibody) (One-Star Alternate Art)
Market Price: $11.20
MetalGarurumon (X Antibody) has already made an appearance in the Digimon Card Game back in BT9. While that card and its accompanying deck were powerful enough to rule the meta for a period of time, this new version of the cyborg canine can offer a different playstyle that some players might prefer.
This 1 Star Alternate Art is one of the three versions of the card found in Animal Colosseum, ready to blast its enemies away with its powerful metal storm attack.

9GraceNovamon
Market Price: $19.13
As one of the two Secret Rares in the Animal Colosseum set, GraceNovamon is pretty hard to pull. Every box is guaranteed either three Alternate Art cards or two Alternate Arts and a Secret Rare, but with the amount of Alternate Art cards in the set, getting the Level seven Jogress Digimon will prove to be a great feat.
The card will remain relatively expensive, since to be playable you’ll need at least two copies of it, and people will attempt to, at least, get their investment back from each box that is opened.

In the Digimon Card Game, Secret Rare cards tend to hold their value, unless they are not seeing play in a top-tier deck. Since both SEC cards in the set are constantly being played, you should grab your copies sooner rather than later.
8Dianamon (Alternate Art)
Market Price: $20.97
The Digimon Card Game has slowly been adding members of the Olympus XII with each passing set. In Animal Colosseum, it is Dianamon’s turn for the spotlight. This Night Claw Digimon can freeze your opponent’s board while keeping the pressure going.
Dianamon seems a bit cheap for such a beautiful card, but you’ll need an entire playset if you want to properly play the Light Fang / Night Claw deck at its full power. Get ready to shell out the money if you want the shiniest version of this deck.

7X Antibody Proto Form (Alternate Art)
Market Price: $21.15
X Antibody cards always have some of the best Alternate Arts. This card is a new version of the white Option card you can use to digivolve mid-attack. This version of X Antibody reduces the cost of your X Antibody digivolution while giving any stack a layer of protection against your opponent’s effects.
The art for the car is very simple. It only shows the X Antibody with a background featuring some of the Digimon found in this set, but since this card will be seeing plenty of play in decks to come, the price is sure to stay high.

6Fanglongmon
Market Price: $25.83
Just like GraceNovamon, Fanglongmon is another hard-to-pull Secret Rare from EX05 Animal Colosseum. This card, unlike the other level seven Digimon, needs to be played at four in every Deva/Four Sovereigns deck, making this a hefty price point to build the deck.
You could get away with playing less of this mighty God Beast, but the entire deck revolves around its boss Digimon, so lowering the amount of copies you play will water down the deck significantly.

5GraceNovamon (Alternate Art)
Market Price: $27.20
You want to let your opponents know what you can ball with the best of them with a lower tier deck in style? Then you need to grab this GraceNovamon Alternate Art quickly, before players catch on how fun the deck actually is.
The regular art of the card is great and shows the stature of the galaxy Digimon, but this alternate art is far more dynamic, and for a couple of extra dollars, you might as well get the higher rarity.

4Fanglongmon (Alternate Art)
Market Price: $28.88
Fanglongmon’s Alternate Art suffers from the opposite problem that GraceNova does. Its Alternate Art looks more static than its regular art, but interestingly enough, it fits the style of the card. The Alternate Art almost looks like a statue straight out of a hidden crypt in a fantasy forest.
Just like GraceNova, the price difference between this Alternate Art and its regular art is minuscule, so grab them as soon as possible before the Alternate Art skyrockets and you miss your chance to play the Deva deck.

3Leviamon (Alternate Art)
Market Price: $31.36
Since Anubismon was hit by Bandai’s restriction list, the new big scary purple deck in town will be Leviamon. That means players are preparing themselves by buying all of the alternate arts of the cheesin’ crocodile, making Leviamon the most expensive non-lottery card in the set.
There are sales being made on this card every single day so this is one of the cards in the set that will definitely go up in price, so if you want to play a ton of tokens in your opponent’s battle area, make sure you buy your copies of theSeven Great Demon Lord.

2MetalGarurumon (X Antibody) (Two-Star Alternate Art)
Market Price: $153.91
Being a fan-favorite Digimon, MetalGarurumon (X Antibody), or commonly referred to by the community as “Melga X,” received three different Alternate Arts in Animal Colosseum, two of them being lottery cards with low pull rates.
The Two-Star version, noted by the small couple of stars at the bottom right of the card, is drawn in the style of the original Digimon Card Game from back in the early 2000s. This style is especially nostalgic for many fans, making this the card to get from this set.

1MetalGarurumon (X Antibody) (Three-Star Alternate Art)
Market Price: $164.75
For the past couple of sets Bandai has had a fascination with two different rarities, alternate arts based on the original card game, and gold foiling. These Melga X cards are not exempt from this. The 3 Star Alternate Art for MetalGarurumon X is a gold-foiled lottery card, but what makes this one special is the brand-new artwork drawn by Emiliano Santalucia, who has been crushing it with full art Premium Bandai exclusive cards. The pull rates are not official for this card, but we can assume it is similar to most lottery cards which fall around one in every two cases.
