Summary
While traversing Tartarus or fighting the hardest of bosses, your party members inPersona 3 Reloadwill be there to support you, through thick and thin. This is why, as important as your own Persona’s skills are, it is just as important to verify your precious companions have the best skills they can learn as well.
Each party member has their skill pool to learn from, so they will all feel and function differently from one another. So, what are the best abilities your allies can learn you might ask?Whether you enjoy blasting foes with charged magic, buffing the party, or spamming multi-hit physical moves, this list will have answers for you.

10Dekunda
When you are in the middle of a heated battle and the enemy casts debuffs on you or your party, it can put a dampener on your strategy. Having an ally with Dekunda can be a very quick, yet effective, solution to fixing the problem, leaving you with more time to fight back or have more skill slots on your own Persona for different abilities.
In the late game, managing buffs and debuffs is probably one of the most important aspects of the combat system. The one downside to this skill is that it can only be learned by Aigis, and even though it’s not a deal-breaker, it will mean that she has a lot of value being on your active party unless you make sure to carry the skill yourself.

9Dekaja
Much like the previous entry, being able to react to enemies buffing themselves, as opposed to debuffing you, is arguably even more vital, and an ally with Dekaja will verify to keep your attacks hitting hard and accurately. Enemies tend to love spamming buffs on themselves and being able to remove them will keep you from getting frustrated.
Also like Dekunda, Dekaja is, unfortunately, only learned by Ken from leveling up. To effectively control the flow of battle and keep you and your party safe from harm, ensure to keep Ken or your own Persona with Dekaja close by.

8Resist Phys
When your party members begin to steel their resolve and their respective Personas change into their final forms, their elemental resistances update and stay that way for the rest of the game. The only exception to this rule is a potent skill Aigis learns in the late game called Resist Phys.
With this skill, Aigis now has the powerful property of being, at a minimum, resistant to all kinds of physical attacks. This skill sets her apart from the rest of the party, granting her more defensive options and the ability to be a very potent tank for the team, so it is highly recommended you make this skill part of her skill set in the end game.

7Concentrate
Who doesn’t like big damage? Concentrate is a very powerful skill that more than doubles the damage of the next magic attack cast, making it very potent, very quickly. Mitsuru is the only member of S.E.E.S that can learn it, however, so verify to bring her along if you need to hit something with ice spells hard.
The best spells to pair with Mitsuru’s Concentrate would be Mabufudyne and the extremely powerful single-target ice spell Diamond Dust. This combo can very easily dispatch the normal shadows you find wandering around Tartarus or deal a large amount of damage to any boss provided they don’t resist, null, or drain ice-type attacks, otherwise, herTheurgy spells are also great optionsto buff with Concentrate.

6Amrita Shower
Nobody likes being afflicted with status ailments, and it also doesn’t help that there are two different types of skills, Patra and Baisudi, that get rid of status ailments depending on which one you’re trying to remove. The easy solution? Just have someone cast Amrita Shower, which removes all forms of status effects except KO.
The two catches on using Amrita Shower, however, are that it’s only learned naturally by Yukari and that it has a pretty high SP cost to cast. Fortunately, Yukari is built to use healing skills and has a high SP pool to cast with as well as passive abilities that allow her to halve or quarter any healing she throws your way.

5Tartarus Search
Skills aren’t only useful for battles; one of the most useful skills, for example, is one learned by Fuuka that will immensely assist you in your exploration of Tartarus. Tartarus Search allows you to immediately scan whatever floor of Tartarus you are currently on, completely filling out your map and locating the stairs and any teleporter on the level.
This skill is a great way for you to quickly ascend the tower while avoiding enemies, as long as Fuuka has the SP to cast it, and it can also help you quickly locate any treasure or objects of interest as well. Most importantly though, it can be used toautomatically succeed at hunting down any Greedy Shadows that appear, removing the RNG entirely.

4Mediarahan
While not fancy, Mediarahan will still be your primary way of healing for large amounts of damage in the later parts of the game. Diarama and Mediarama can carry you pretty far, but once enemies begin to use more and more party-wide attacks that hit for a lot of damage, you will need to be prepared for group healing.
The best part is that two of your party members, Yukari and Ken, will learn this skill through leveling up, which gives you more options for party configurations and strategies. Even more potent is that Yukari, as mentioned earlier, will be able to take advantage of her passive ability that halves or quarters all SP costs of healing spells, so don’t be shy about making sure your team is topped off at all times.

3Akasha Arts, Vorpal Blade (Or Any Multi-target Physical Skill)
Multi-target physical moves are quite possibly the most overpowered skills in the game that do damage. With multiple chances to crit enemies, you will find yourself breezing through random encounters with ease once you start utilizing these skills; Aigis, Junpei, and Shinjiro will be the very best in this niche.
As long as enemies don’t repel, null, or drain physical skills, they are always a viable option to use due to the fact you can always land a critical hit and knock an enemy down, even through resistance. The very best party member to do this with is Junpei, as his passive ability greatly increases his odds of getting critical hits, and if you couple that with multi-target moves like Vorpal Blade the shadows won’t know what hit them.

2Heat Riser
One of the very best skills in your party’s arsenal is the ability to buff all three of your stats at the same time: attack, defense, and evasion/accuracy. It saves a lot of time and the potential battle turns when you need to get one person’s stats maxed out before launching a charged attack or a Theurgy.
The only party member who can learn this skill is Ken. Make sure you always have a way of buffing yourself towards the end of the game, as buffs and debuffs can make or break a fight, and while some items can perform a massive buff like Heat Riser can, it is always best to have it in your party as a skill as well.

1Debilitate
The very best skill your party can have in the entire game is most definitely Debilitate; while buffs and Heat Riser are great, the power of this skill lies in the fact that many boss encounters are static, one-on-one fights. Even when you have two opponents, it is still more efficient to debuff than buff.
The math is simple, to buff every party member, including yourself, requires you to take four actions or turns; meanwhile, to Debilitate only takes one turn provided you are fighting just one enemy. Even if you’re fighting three enemies it is still more efficient to Debilitate, as you’ll most likely be using both Heat Riser and Debilitate in tandem, however, so feel free to dish out the damage.
