Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealthwelcomes back most of the playable party members fromYakuza: Like A Dragon(Eri is excluded), and adds an entire party’s worth of new members to the fray. Seonhee, Kiryu Kazuma, Eric Tomizawa, and Chitose Fujinomiya are the four newcomers to your party.
Building your party in Infinite Wealth will change drastically, beginning with a shift to Kiryu as the leader in Chapter Eight: Return To Sender. Be prepared to use at least three different parties: Kiryu’s or Kasuga’s during the story, and your last one in Premium Adventure.

Battle Mage
Hybrid
Through the first seven chapters of Infinite Wealth,Kasuga and Kiryu will be teamed up, and very few party choices will be made, other than job selections.
However, your opening party is serviceable, with three members capable of changing their roles, and two solidoptions for a support role.

Firstly,Kiryuwill be your brawling damage-dealer and tank, so you should equip him with gear thatboosts his Attack or HP.
Kiryu’s Dragon of Dojima jobis one ofthe best starting jobs in Infinite Wealth, and can be used in every party Kiryu is a part of.

Next,Tomizawa, or “Tomi”, is an excellent Magic damage dealer as aCabbie, with versatile attacks that cover Ice, Fire, and Electric, so he should always be putting pressure on the enemies.
You have some choices for which direction to go withKasuga and Chitose, as both can lean more intodamage or healing.

Ideally, you can use them both ashybrid damage dealers and supportsonce theyreach Job Level 30, as they will both gain Essence options and Skills to cover all bases.
If you want to commit to a party style before job level 30,make Kasuga your support character, a role he can fillusing his versatile Hero job.
As the leader Kasuga can also access Poundmates if you need to use his turn to heal, or otherwise shift the battle with his Skills.
Support/Healer
Damage/Utility
Kiryu’s best party compositionhas a heavy early focus on damage when you take control, so you need to make more conscious decisions when selecting the best jobs to maintain balance.
Seonhee is a versatile characterwho can perform well if you prefer her, especially via her Assassin Skill, Stentorian Whip.
However, Zhao is a bit betterthan Seonhee for damage, and Saeko is preferred for healing purposes.
You want to focus on staying alive at this point in the game, soswitch Saeko from Barmaid to Idolas soon as you can.
Idolis anexcellent support jobwith multiple Skills that heal HP and cure status ailments.
It will take some time to addZhaoto the party, but be sure to include him for training as soon ashe joins the party in chapter 11.
Zhao’sGangsterjob suits him well, but you can also swap jobs over toChefif you want more ways to debuff your foes.
Nanba’sarea-of-effect (AoE)Magic damage using Homeless Guyis undoubtedly his best quality, and he should be relied on to thin the crowds of enemies when faced with larger group battles.
What Are The Best Parties For Post-Game (Premium Adventure)?
Once you finish Infinite Wealth’s story and enterPremium Adventure, you’ll gainaccess to allpartymembers.
Kiryu (Ijincho/Kamurocho)andKasuga (Hawaii)will remainlocked as party leadersin their respective locations, but you still gain a greater variety of powerful party compositions when filling the three open slots.
At this point, thebest party compositionin Infinite Wealthdepends on what you want to do.
If you’re going topatrol the streets or roamaround looking for points of interest to enjoy, you mayprefer an attack-oriented partyto help you finish battles off quickly.
However, you will need abalanced party composition to survive difficult challenges, like The Big Swell, or the other dungeons in Infinite Wealth.
Clean-Up
The best attacking party compositionin Infinite Wealth combines the two protagonists with their friends, Eric Tomizawa, and Joongi Han.
Tianyou Zhaocould bean excellent substituteforJoongiHanas there will be instances where Zhao’s Essence Attacks will be better than what Joongi Han can provide.
YuNanbais also an acceptable substitute forTomizawa.
Kiryu’sgear should provideas much HPas possible for this party, as he won’t be able to access healing support, other than possibly from Kasuga.
Don’t forget todrink boostersto improve certain aspects of your party members.
Kasugais a bit flexible here – he can roll witheither Sujimancer or Hero,or mix-and-match Skills from each job.
If you’re afraid of being caught in a bind with Kiryu, use your skill inheritance slots for Kasuga on his Hero healing Skills.
However, as aSujimancer,Kasugacan alternate decimating crowds with Tomizawa, as they should both pack an incredible punch.
Joongi Han is here to clean up– or soften up – the crowds with hisHitmanjob.
If there are any stragglers after Joongi Han and the Mages are done with one round, Joongi has a variety of Skills to finish them off.
If you’re serious about challenging the Hawaiian Haunt, Yokohama Underground, or Big Swell dungeons, you mustdedicateat leastone party member to supportingyour main attacking threats.
Aggressive strategies are still important, and feasible while using a balanced party, but a dedicated healer ensures far fewer defeats, and might even snatch a victory with a well-timed revive or group heal.
Kiryu and Kasugaare your main frontline attackers, given their access to powerful Skills like Giga Swing (Kasuga) and Essence of the Dragon God (Kiryu), which can both defeat groups of enemies in an instant.
Eric Tomizawa(or Yu Nanba, if you prefer) can soften up any remaining foes, priming them to be finished off, or lowering their Defense for future follow-up blows.
Lastly,Saekois the focal point of this team, as she can set the tone with aLovedrunk Typhoon– capable ofCharmingfoes anddebuffingtheirDefense.
Aside from enjoying herIdolhealing Skills, you should use Skill Inheritanceto learn attacks that inflict Ice damage viaBarmaidto give Saeko an offensive pivot.
These are some of the best parties in Infinite Wealth, so round out their abilities with Skill Inheritance and you may tackle any challenge.
