Ice Pals have a key role inPalworld, as they are needed for cooling. When you arerunning your ranch, you will need to feed all of your Pals and keep yourself fed too. There are a lot of ways to get food, but once you have it, it’s a matter of time until it spoils.
You can get a cooler box and even upgrade to a refrigerator, but without a good set of cooling Pals, this won’t help you. If you have cooling Pals that spend their time keeping your fridge cold, your food will last longer, and you will be able to feed everyone you need too.
8Pengullet
Easy To Catch
Pengullet is the easiest cooling Pal that you will find. They are around your main base and don’t take much to actually catch. It has askill in handiwork, transporting, watering, and cooling, making them good for a lot around the ranch.
With that said, Pengullet might also get distracted, as they have so many tasks they could perform. You can get a few of them going at the ranch to make up for it. Pengullet also has a few ice attacks from level 22 and above, which can really destroy any Fire Pals that you come across.
7Chillet
Easy To Get
Chillet can be found south of the Fort Ruins Teleport, and isn’t too challenging to actually capture. If you are really struggling, you can purchase them from the Black Marketeer. They make for avery good Pal to have early on, especially as they are easy to level up.
Chillet has one skill in gathering and one in cooling, so they will focus at your camp on what you need them to do. They do have a few dragon attacks mixed in with ice attacks, but some of them are really powerful.
6Sweepa
Better In Packs
Sweepa is a giant Pal that you can find along with a bunch of mini-versions of them. They are a little tricky to catch due to the number of them that travel together, all boosting each other. Sweepa has one skill in gathering and one in cooling, so they will focus a bit more on actually doing the cooling that you need.
This Pal has some high-level ice attacks that can be good against fire Pals, especially Cryst Breath, which freezes an enemy and continues to deal damage. It’s a powerful partner to have both at your base and in your party.
5Sibelyx
Rare Skills For Your Ranch
Sibelyx is a rare Pal to find within the world of Palworld. They can be very challenging to actually capture too. If you do capture one, they make for a great cooling Pal for your ranch, as they have two skills in both cooling and medical production, as well as one in farming.
You won’t often have Pals focused on Medical Production, so it’s almost like they would only be cooling and farming. In farming, they create high-quality cloth, which is always good to have, so this combination of skills is perfect for your ranch. They do have a mix of different attacks, but many of their lower-level attacks are ice-focused, so no need to focus on leveling them up.
4Penking
An Ice Boss
Penking is marked on the map as a boss, so you can very easily find them. They are a bit of a challenge to capture, but once you have them, they are extremely useful around camp. Penking has two skills in handiwork, transporting, watering, mining, and cooling.
Though there are a lot of different tasks that they could be doing around the ranch, they are very efficient at each one. Penking has a very strong ice attack at level 40, which deals damage to both the enemy and the surrounding area!
3Reindrix
Cold And You Can Ride Them
Reindrix is a bit of a challenging Pal to find out in the wild, and then capture, as they are invery cold, mountainous climates. Once you do get one, however, they work well both in your party and on your ranch.
They have two skills in both cooling and lumbering, which means they will focus on making sure your cooler box or refrigerator is well maintained. They are also mountable, allowing you to travel to warm climates while keeping yourself nice and cold.
2Cryolinx
Best At Cooling But Hard Working
Cryolinx is hard to find. You can search for them in the northwestern part of the Palpagos Islands. They are quite large in size and can take a bit of fighting before you care able to capture one, but they are a great cooling pal to have.
Cryolinx has one skill in handiwork, two in lumbering, and three in cooling, making them the best at cooling. Though they can do a few other jobs, they do specialize in cooling, and keeping them at your camp means they will do nothing when all of your cooler box is charged up.
1Frostallion
Coldest Of The Cold
Frostallion is the most challenging cooling Pal that you can find, as they are boss-level Pals. If you are able to defeat and capture Frostallion, you have an ice Pal that you can mount or that you can leave as a specialist at your ranch.
They have a cooling level of four, being the only Pal that focuses on cooling that well and doesn’t have any other distractions. When mounted, they allow you to attack to deal ice damage and increase any ice damage that you would have already been doing.
