Unlike many of the other skills needed for base tasks inPalworld, Medicine Production only goes as high as level three, while the others can go up to level four or five. Additionally, of the over 100 Pals available in the game, only a few of them have the Medicine Production skill.
You’ll need to have different types of medicine in your inventory to give to your Pals who are sick and injured, and for this you’ll need Pals who have this skill. Since Medicine Production is a hard trait to come by, we thought we’d compile a list for you of the best Pals you’ll need for this task.

Other Base Tasks
Planting (1), Handiwork (1), Lumbering (1), Gathering (1)
This adorable little badger monkey will be among thefirst Pals you come acrossat the beginning of the game. They can do a lot of tasks around your base, includingPlantingandHandiwork. But they can also craft medicine, provided you’ve built a Medieval Medicine Bench.
You should be able to find Lifmunk in just aboutany of the low-level forest areas, and capturing them should be very simple. Until you have a larger variety of Pals at your base, Lifmunk will be a great worker to have.

Planting (2)
Although Cinnamoth’s primary task is Planting, it also has alevel one Medicine Production skill. You can assign both Lifmunk and Cinnamoth to your base, and if you need extra help with making medicines, Cinnamoth will be able to assist.
You should be able to find this shy little bug in theCinnamoth Forest on the Moonless Shore. It also drops useful items like honey and seeds, which you’ll need for later in the game.

Planting (1), Handiwork (1), Transporting (1), Gathering (1)
Once you reach mid-game, you may find yourself needing more medicine more often. No matter what you do to take care of your Pals, you can’t completely avoid them getting sick or injured.Crafting medicines takes a lot of work power,so eventually you’re going toneed Pals with a higher skill level.
Bristla, who can be found in theAncient Ritual Site on the Moonless Shore, has a level two Medicine Production skill, and is a great replacement for that task. This will free up other Pals, like Lifmunk and Cinnamoth, for other jobs.

Handiwork (2), Transporting (2)
Once you’re able to catch a Katress, it can be avery handy Pal to assign to your base. While active, they’ll be available for any Handiwork or Transporting jobs necessary, butwhen you need to craft some medicine you won’t have to do anything extra.
While Katress should be a relatively easy catch once you’ve reached mid-game, they are a nocturnal Pal, so you’ll only find them at night.you’re able to search for them in the area around the Frostbound Mountains,or go for the Alpha version in the Sealed Realm of the Invincible.

Planting (2), Handiwork (2), Lumbering (1), Gathering (2)
Elizabee will be a bit more difficult to capturethan some of the earlier Pals on this list.Located all throughout the Verdant Brooke, an Elizabee will always be accompanied by two Beegarde whose self-destructive powers could be detrimental to your health.
Once caught, however, Elizabee is agreat Medicine Producer to have at your base. It also has skills in Planting, Handiwork, Lumbering, and Gathering, proving it to be a valuable addition to the workforce.

With a level three Medicine Production skill,Felbat is one of the best Pals to have at your base for producing medicine. Additionally, it is their only task, so they will be singularly focused on the job. If you need to craft a lot of medicine, wehighly recommend keeping this Pal in the wingsto bring in when you need it.
Producing medicine is not the only asset this Pal can provide, however. If you bring it along on your team to fight with you, while in battleany absorbed damage will be translated to healthto help keep you in the fight for longer.
While you’re able to easily find Felbat at night around the Desolate Church, you can also hatch a Felbat by incubating a Large Dark Egg.

Planting (4), Handiwork (3), Gathering (2)
The number one Pal for Planting cropsclaims the number two spot for Medicine Production. Although its level four Planting skill means that it will prioritize, and be faster at, planting seeds, when there are medicines that need to be made,Lyleen is a great Pal to have around.
Additionally, if you add Lyleen to your team, while activated,it will heal you based on your player level. This could mean the difference between victory and defeat in many of your battles.

Planting (2), Handiwork (2), Transporting (1), Gathering (2)
Coming in at the number one spot we have Vaelet, abeautiful but fierce Pal with a level three Medicine Production skill. Its grass attacks are deadly in battle, but at your base it will focus on what needs to be done. When you don’t need any medicine crafted,Vaelet can also be a valuable planter and gatherer.
If you have a mount that can take you across water, travel to the No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuarywhere you should be able to find a few Vaelet to capture for your base.
