Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3has released its first Aftermarket Part for an MW2 weapon in its third season. The KV Broadside shotgun from MW2 has received a powerful conversion kit that turns it into a full-auto battle rifle, capable of landing two-hit kills if you’re skilled enough to land headshots.

While this weapon won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s a fantastic option for long-range maps and more slow-paced modes like Ground War. This guide will cover how to make the most out of the KV Broadside’s JAK Jawbreaker Kit, covering everything from ideal attachment combinations to loadout recommendations.

This build will only cover the KV Broadside’s conversion kit. The standard weapon is far too underpowered for core Multiplayer, Warzone, or MWZ.

If you’re interested in using a powerful semi-auto shotgun for Multiplayer,we recommend the Haymakerover the KV Broadside.

JAK Jawbreaker KV Broadside Build

While the KV Broadside struggles to compete in its shotgun form, theJAK Jawbreaker Kitconverts this weapon into a powerful battle rifle that can kill enemies in two bullets, provided you land a single headshot. This is easier said than done, as this weapon has atrocious firing aim stability. Even worse, this gun uses MW2 attachments for its stocks and grips, all of which lack firing aim stability modifiers.

We can use MW3 attachments to help fix this issue. TheT51R Billeted Brake Lsubstantially cuts down on the weapon’s vertical recoil. We then use theFTAC SP-10 Angled Gripto reduce the gun’s horizontal recoil without harming its ADS speed. It also gives some aim walking steadiness, a stat this gun desperately needs. We then use theJAK Glassless Opticto add even more firing aim stability. The final attachment is down to preference.

This build gives the JAK Jawbreaker a much more reasonable recoil pattern that’s mostly vertical, although the visual recoil makes the gun seem much less accurate than it really is.You’ll need to pace your shots past 30 meters, but good aim will be rewarded with near-instant kills. Use this weaponas you would the Sidewinder; it’s not an assault rifle.

Loadout Recommendations

The KV Broadside’s conversion kit desperately needs a recoil mitigation muzzle to work, so we lack a suppressor to run a proper stealth build. As a result, the ideal loadout for this weapon is quite flexible. We prefer to use theCompression Carrierfor the instant HP regeneration after kills, but you may perform quite well with the Modular Assault Rig or Infantry Vest as well.

For perks,Covert Sneakersis an excellent perk for any build, muffling your footstep audio.Mag Holsteris great for reducing the weapon’s long reload time, andScavenger Glovesallow you to mitigate the low spare ammo reserves on this gun. The equipment you bring is entirely down to preference.
