Summary

Eric Tomizawa is one of the most impactful newcomers inLike A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. From his unexpected introduction to becoming a mainstay in Kasuga’s party, Tomizawa embodies trust and toughness in his actions, including his jobs.

The best jobs for Tomizawa in Infinite Wealth put him to use as a Battle Mage who can control crowds of enemies with powerful Magic Skills, Essence attacks, and more. You’ll want tolevel up every job quicklyif you want toinherit Skills from each of the best ones, as even lesser jobs might have useful Skills.

Three

Two

Much like in real life, every party member in Infinite Wealth is suited to particular jobs, while others simply don’t benefit them in any useful way. For example, Tomizawa is meant to be a Mage or at least a Magic-focused character with a few physical tricks up his sleeve.

Action Star, while solid for physical Attackers, offers little to nothing Tomizawa can use to his advantage. The focus on physical, blunt attacks isn’t good for Tomi, and the limited buffs aren’t helpful for your teammates or yourself. Stay out of the limelight, Tomi – not everyone is meant to be in front of the camera.

Five

Linebacker suffers a similar fate to Action Star, but this football-focused Job has someredeeming qualities Tomizawa can use. Most notably, the Hail Mary Bomb does Fire-based Magic damage to a range of enemies, albeit it does take two turns to execute.

Tomizawa also appreciates access to the Cooler Shower Skill for inheritance, as this option will recover your HP and boost your Defense. While this is far from Tomizawa’s best job, Linebacker offers some decent Skills to consider when building your ideal Mage.

Breaker is a bit underrated as a Job as it’s not particularly amazing as an attacking threat alone, but it offers a wealth of buffing moves that can be inherited or combined with other Skills with Breaker as the main job. Unfortunately for Tomizawa, he has better Job options, so Breaker is relegated to a class he poaches Skills from.

Accel Step is perhaps the best Skill to inherit from Breaker, regardless of how you choose to build Tomizawa, as it increases his Evasion. Evasion boosts are some of the most important in Infinite Wealth, and are worth using your valuable turns to gain.

Four

Unfortunately, not even a solid job like Samurai makes Tomizawa particularly good as a basic Attacker, as he prefers a hybrid Mage role at minimum to make the most impact on your battles. It’s not that any of these jobs so far are unusable, they just aren’t as compatible with Tomizawa.

While it is better than some of the other Attack-focused jobs for Tomizawa, you won’t want to use the Samurai Job when including Tomi in yourbest party compositions to take on the difficult dungeons. However, Glory Awaits could be a good Skill if you need to buff your Attack-focused friends.

Desperado starts moving toward the Magic-focused build that best suits Tomizawa. Tomizawa’s best job in Infinite Wealth must come with a host of options for him to flex his Magic-using muscles.DynamiteFeveris a solid Fire-based option witha chance to burn, whileBourbonBustercan inflict a coldwith its Ice damage.

Campfire Cook gives Tomizawa a means of recovering HP, while you’ll never run low on MP due to the Job’s naturally high amount. The Essence attacks are a bit lacking, so Desperado can be safely used as a Skill Inheritance option.

Chef offers a blend of buffs to help beef up you and the party, along with a few solid Skills that make use of Tomizawa’s versatility.Well Done is a solid Fire-based Magic Skillwith a chance to burn and pairs well withEssenceofSearing, which does more damage to enemies themore status ailments they have.

Chef also gives access to Skills that cause bleed, blind, and stun, so there are numerous ways to inflict a status condition. It lacks a variety of strong Magic attacks, but otherwise provides some interesting status synergy.

Aquanaut is a nicely well-rounded Job for Tomizawa, serving especially well as one of the first non-starting jobs you’re able to select. You have access tomultiple HP-restoring Skills, along with Electric and Ice-based attacks, though the latter are blunt Skills, not Magic.

You can stick with Aquanaut if you want an all-out Ice attacker that can use Magic or physical Skills, but Tomizawa can poach the best Skills from this job and pair them with better Essence options than Aquanaut has.

One

Despite some weaker attributes that put Host at risk of heavy damage, this job is superior to Aquanaut in its focus on varied pure Magic Skills.Rose Stinger and Ice Spreader are your bread-and-butter Skills, as the first can charm and burn foes, while the latter may leave them with a cold.

The high amount of Magic damage and MP ensures that Host will make the most of Tomi’s Magic, and enemies will feel lasting effects from his attacks. Host is simply one of the best Mage jobs available for Tomizawa.

Pyrodancer makes a legitimate argument for the best Job for Eric Tomizawa in Infinite Wealth, but it loses out purely due to its frailty. Pyrodancer strikes an excellent balance of Attack and Magic for Tomizawa, giving him plenty of power and MP to work with.

Both Essence attacks function well, with one designed to be used at lower HP, and the other preferring more HP to do more damage. Defense buffs from Heart Drum, status removal and resistance from Ancient Panacea, and Soul Predation are strong Skills that can carry Tomizawa and his team to victory.

It’s hard to get better thanTomizawa’s Cabbie starting Jobin Infinite Wealth, as this class gives Tomizawa access to Ice, Electric, and Fire-based attacks, includingtwo Skills that can lower enemy resistances. Oil and Toil (Fire) and Scrubdown (Electric) make enemies more susceptible to attacks from the respective damage types.

In addition, Scrubdown is easily one of the best Skills in the game, as it deals heavy damage, decreases enemy resistance to Electric, and is a Grapple attack, which will break enemy guards. Combine these fantastic Skills with two excellent attacks in Essence of Steer Clear and Essence of Buckle Up to solidify Cabbie as Tomizawa’s best starting job.
