As you playEnshrouded, you can make a variety of snacks and meals to take on the road with you. While it’s possible to eat raw food and gain a small benefit, you can also cook and combine ingredients to make dishes with much-needed buffs.
There are a lot of food items in the game, but thankfully, we’re here to help. Here, you may find some of the best food items to make and eat in Enshrouded. These utilize a variety of items that aren’t contained just to the early-game content. If you can’t make any of these yet, don’t worry! Keep exploring and you will eventually find the ingredients.

Enshrouded is currently in Early Access on Steam and as such, the content is subject to change. We will update these articles as required.
+2 Health Regeneration
30 seconds
Starting off easy, we have the humble Purple Berry. This little berry is found in abundance within the Springlands, but it can come in handy when you are in a pinch. With health regeneration properties that last just 30 seconds, you’re able to quickly eat a berry, and then consume something else.

With the Hunter unlocked, you will also be able to make Dried Purple Berries. This dried version has slightly better healing regeneration, allowing you to reap the benefits of this berry for a bit longer.
1x Honey

2x Strawberry
1x Yucca

+3 Stamina Recharge
45 minutes
Speaking of berries, you can also use them to make the Fruit Bowl. This is a health and stamina-boosting dish that lasts a whopping 45 minutes. The ingredients are fairly simple; you just need to get your hands on some Yucca.

Yucca can be found in the Kindlewastes biome, which is a desert. If you haven’t been here yet, you will need to head to the easternmost side of the map. Around palm trees, you may find Yucca growing. Once you have all the ingredients, you’re able to make this with the Farmer.
+2 Constitution
20 minutes
Grilled Wolf Meat is another food that is accessible pretty early in the game. Wolves are found quickly as you start to explore the Springlands. Since this mob is hostile, you will definitely want to defeat them regardless if you are looking for meat or not.

Constitution affects your total health. One Constitution point is 50 HP.
With the raw meat, you simply need to head to a campfire and start cooking. Once the meat has sizzled enough, pull it back and you are free to dig in! You don’t need to any NPC help you make this dish.
1x Chamomile
1x Water
+2 Endurance
35 minutes
Chamomile Tea is a cozy drink that can provide a decent amount of stamina and health regeneration. To make it, you will need to have the Farmer unlocked, as well as a fireplace nearby. With this, she can help you make a little mug of tea.
Within the Springlands and Revelwood, you can find Chamomile growing. Thankfully,Chamomile can also be farmed; once you find at least one flower, you can create Chamomile Seedlings to plant around your base.
+2 Stamina Recharge
10 minutes
Okay, we know that water is not a food, but it is definitely the unsung hero of Enshrouded. By drinking water, you can gain more stamina and stamina recharge for a full ten minutes.Water is incredibly easy to obtain, so you should always have a few bottles on hand.
You don’t even need to have a container to store your water; these will magically appear once you start collecting the water from a well. Overall, we suggest to always drink water as you run through the world. This extra stamina boost can come in handy for both exploration and combat.
1x Flour
+1 Intelligence
Lastly, we have the Meat Wrap. This is a bit harder to make, as you will need materials like Sand Digger Meat and Flour, as well as an Oven. If you do have these on hand though, head to the Farmer, and make yourself a Meat Wrap!
This meal provides five Constitution points, which is a grand total of 250 extra HP. The extra Intelligence boost is a great addition if you lean more towards aMana-based build as well. To get Flour, you will need to grind Grain at a Grinding Stone (available with the Alchemist). The Raw Sand Digger Meat can be obtained from Sand Digger enemies in the Kindlewastes.
