Summary
Once a year, for three days, you’re able to experience the Desert Festival inStardew Valley. There are loads of activities, fun challenges for the Skull Cavern, and even a new currency type that you can only collect and use while the festival is going on called Calico Eggs.
What can these Calico Eggs buy? There are various traders and shops set up so you may peruse their wares. However, two random villagers each day will arrive and sell their own items. But which of these villager shops has the best stock? This list will focus on who are the most exciting villagers to see step off the bus.

you’re able to only attend the Desert Festival if the Bus has been repaired. This will mean you most likely won’t be able to attend until your second year in-game.
10Clint
Ah Clint, everyone’s favorite Blacksmith. This may come as a surprise, but Clint sells ores and coal at his villager shop.
This, however, can save you some serious gold. Especially when visiting the shop after Clint and Robin both raise their prices at the start of Year 2 in-game.

9Harvey
The Doctor is in and he’s brought with him some goods to sell. What’s so cool about Harvey’s shop is that it holds items you can’t get anywhere else: his Mallet, Radio Desk, and Model Planes.
In addition to these items, he also sells coffee in counts of five. Coffee always stays useful, even if you’re only getting it to turn it into Triple Shot Espresso.

8Emily
Emily has a variety of items that speak to her personality. But of all the items, the most impressive (and expensive) item is a Prismatic Shard.
You may already have somePrismatic Shardsif you’ve been to the Skull Cavern, but being able to buy an extra to use or sell is never a bad use of your money, or eggs in this case.

7Shane
If you’ve gotten to know Shane, it won’t be a surprise that his shop is very chicken-themed. One of the things he sells is a cute Chicken Decal that shows off a Blue Chicken.
He also sells his favorite food items and some eggs. Which, if you haveMayonnaise Machines, you may turn into profits for cheap.

If you forgot to bring food with you to the Desert Festival and want to explore the Skull Cavern, check the Villager Shops to see if they’re selling any dishes.
6Maru
Maru has four items, but all of them are worthy of throwing some hard-earned eggs down on the table. Just hand them over gently.
One of these items is a weapon, Maru’s Wrench. There are also some Iridium Bars, which are always good to have on hand, as well as Strawberry Seeds, which you can plant right away or save for the next Spring.

5Robin
Similar to Clint, Robin sells items you may always purchase at her shop, but instead of spending gold, you can stock up on resources by handing over Calico Eggs.
However, there’s a big ticket item you may buy with Caligo Eggs instead of gold, and that isthe Furniture Catalogue. It’s usually 200,000g. Instead, it will cost you 1,000 Calico Eggs.

1,000 Calico Eggs
4Leo
Leo has four items, and two of them are dishes: Poi and Tropical Curry. You may have already unlockedGinger Islandby the time you’re able to travel to the Desert, but if not, they are made with ingredients that are only found once you can go there.
But the main attraction is a Banana Sapling. There are very few ways to get a Banana Sapling, so having one more way to grab it is always welcome.

3George
The old man George has some cool stuff at his shop. One of his items is a Retro TV. Hopefully, Alex helped him get it to the Desert.
He also has Coffee and, best of all, Artifact Troves. If you’re still filling up your museum, grab these Artifact Troves immediately.

2Alex
Alex has quite a few items in his shop, including his Baseball Bat, simply named Alex’s Bat, which is a level seven club.
But he also sells a Trinket. Magic Hair Gel. Now, this doesn’t show up in his shop unless you’ve taken theCombat Mastery, but once you have, you can purchase this from him for 100 Calico Eggs and this is the only way you can get this Trinket.

1Jas
Yes, you’re reading that right, Jas has the best stock at this Festival. Some of the items aren’t all that special. you’re able to find Ancient Dolls easily enough and purchase Fairy Seeds from Pierre, but two items trump the rest.
A Rabbit’s Foot and a Magic Rock Candy. They are expensive, but these are two amazing items. Rabbit’s Feet aren’t rare if you have Rabbits, but a Magic Rock Candy is so much harder to come by plus can help you tackle Skull Cavern Challenges that Marlon issues out.
