The launch ofPersona 3 Reloadhas seen many changes to how Tartarus works, largely attempting to make exploration feel more rewarding. One of the ways it aims to do that is by adding Outfits that function separately from armor.

Now, you may dress your party up in various clothing without worrying about changing your defense stats. If you’re going to spend your nights fighting dark forces, you may as well be fashionable while doing it! Check out some of the best fits you can find for S.E.E.S.

Persona 3 Reload - Left: Akihiko raises his blade-adorned fist in his winter garb; Right - Makoto gets ready to guard in his Dark Jacket

All costumes in Persona 3 Reload are purely cosmetic. Unlike previous versions of the game, there are no effects or defense rates tied to these outfits. It’s also worth noting that big cutscenes will automatically revert back to the default S.E.E.S. uniform.

The Drip Is Icy

How to Get This Outfit

Complete Request #25 from Elizabeth - Create a Mithras that is at least Level 26 through Fusion.

The winter garb that the boys of S.E.E.S. wear during their time off manages to look cozy and stylish all at once. The star of the set here is Makoto’s Dark Jacket, which just oozes main character energy.

Persona 3 Reload - Yukari aims her bow imbued with Garu as Isis floats behind her

A close second is Akihiko’s offwhite jacket and red scarf combo. It looks awesome in battle and simply gives off the vibe that he totally has a timeshare in Aruba. This garb will also automatically unlock for all the other male characters. Tartarus looks frostier with these ‘fits on.

Mopping The Floor With Shadows

Complete Request #92 from Elizabeth - Clean the restroom in Port Island Station.

If you’re looking to add a fun little number to your squad’s attire, then the maid outfit is a solid choice. Creepy Junpei jokes aside, you can actually find a video in the dorm that shows how Yukari feels like her maid outfit got wasted with the cancellation of school events.

Persona 3 Reload - Makoto shoots his Evoker to cast Maragidyne in his butler suit

Sure, the Shadows will hardly appreciate any look you want to show off, but at least it feels correct for cleaning up Tartarus from those nasty pests.

Snappy And Ready To Serve

Use three Twilight Fragments to open a chest on 255F, Adamah Block in Tartarus.

If Yukari’s going to traverse the tower of demise in a maid outfit, there’s no reason you can’t don a snappy butler suit to match! While every male character in SEES has an unlockable suit, the main character is the only one whose suit is labeled as a butler’s outfit. It makes sense considering how you are somehow contractualized by every powerful otherworldly being you come across.

Persona 3 Reload - Left: Majoto clutches his chest during his Theurgy; Right - Makoto walks forward with his sword in his Gekkoukan Jersey, with Ken walking behind him

The butler suit has a classy vibe that perfectly fits all those ending fairy poses you can hit after a hard won battle in Tartarus.

Complete the Monad Passage on 91F, Yabbashah Block in Tartarus.

You’re just a chill guy who happens toexcel at every single extracurricular activityyou put your mind to. So, why not exude that cool and effortlessly active aura with the Gekkoukan Jersey?

It doesn’t hurt that this outfit also feels practical since hunting down Shadows and running up an obscenely high tower seems like a lot of physical movement. At last, no more worrying about ripping a seam when doing a fancy sword swish!

Persona 3 Reload - Mitsuru poses in her battle armor with Artemesia in the back after Theurgy

Armor, I Barely Know Her

Use three Twilight Fragments to open a chest on 112F, Yabbashah Block in Tartarus.

Let’s be real. The whole sexy armor collection feels a little dodgy and teeters dangerously into the weird fan service that the Persona series tends to fall into. That said, the variation of the armor for Mitsuru magically overcomes that hurdle and still looks like a fierce ensemble.

Persona 3 Reload - Left: Makoto shoots his Evoker while wearing the Joker Phantom Thieves outfit; Right: Makoto dressed as Joker poses after the battle

Pair it with her Theurgy and you get that fabulous Bayonetta flair that is unapologetically flashy. Sure, it no longer has the practical effects of the armor in previous iterations of the game, but who cares? You’re an ice queen and you deserve to strut it as you please.

Automatically unlocks after June 13.

Even though it’s one of the earlier outfits you’re able to unlock, there’s no denying it goes kind of hard. It’s a symbolic step showing how much your crew has grown, and that S.E.E.S. is now a bonafide task force. All you have to do to get these outfits for everybody is progress through the story, but that entails a lot of effort in itself.

It also makes sense that the Kirijo Group would finally make the effort to arm S.E.E.S. with protective equipment. A bunch of students hunting down dangerous soul-sucking entities on a regular basis begs for something more than the standard materials schools give. Plus, everyone still gets to show their personal style a la Misfits.

Persona 3 Reload - Shinjiro rests his hammer on his shoulder as he dons the bicolor shorts outfit in Tartarus

Install the Persona 5 Royal Phantom Thieves Costume Set DLC.

The DLC unlocks the whole Phantom Thieves set fromPersona 5, but the best one of the bunch is Joker’s outfit. The way the other looks are applied to everyone else can be hit or miss, so it falls to your taste. The Joker outfit cuts above the rest and looks undeniably appealing.

The way Makoto is depicted in the game just makes for a perfect match with the Joker ensemble. The only thing blocking this look from the top is the fact that it’s only obtainable by getting a paid DLC.

Persona 3 Reload - Junpei in his tuxedo standing with Chidori’s essence behind him after Theurgy.

Complete the Monad Passage on 143F, Tziah Block in Tartarus.

It’s safe to say that Shinjiro is themost universally liked S.E.E.S. memberaside from Koro-chan. His arc is compelling, his character design is great, and he perfectly pulls off that gentle-friend-behind-gruff-exterior persona. It sucks that he doesn’t get to join in on the fun beach shenanigans, but this outfit makes it feel like he could’ve tagged along anyway.

Part of why this feels like one of the best costumes is because there are so few times you see Aragaki in any other outfit than his usual beanie and long jacket. Take the opportunity and let him breathe in a breezy summer outfit while decimating foes!

Persona 3 Reload - Koromaru howls upward to cast Maeigaon while wearing a suit in Tartarus

Indubitably, Good Sir

Use three Twilight Fragments to open a chest on 42F, Arqa Block in Tartarus.

All the guys get a fun suit but Junpei’s stands out because it’s just so extra. Considering how Junpei acts normally, it only makes sense that he would wear something fit for a Greatest Showman spinoff.

It’s also kind of hilarious that his constant need to wear a cap still presents itself by way of a ridiculous top hat. Go on, let him monopolize the battlefield in this fancy little getup!

The Most Dapper Of Dogs

Use three Twilight Fragments to unlock a chest on 193F, Harabah Block in Tartarus.

No one looks as amazing as Tatsumi Port Island’s number one canine companion. Koromaru already looks adorable in his usual winged outfit, but the suit just adds a level of dapper cuteness that is too much to handle.

Why wouldn’t you get the best costume for the best dog? There’s simply no competition when it comes to who the best-dressed award goes to once you get this suit.
