The characters inGenshin Impactare divided into seven elements, and some of these characters are inherently better than others simply because of the Element they possess. Unfortunately, Geo is one of the least effective elements in the game since it only forms a shield after reacting with any other element.
Being a five-star Geo character,Chiorialready gets a bit of a debuff since the reactions can’t give her much value. However, if built correctly, you’re able to still have a lot of fun with this Sword unit and see some quite staggering damage.

The Best Chiori Builds
Chiori’s main source of damage is her Elemental Skill, which can be used in two ways based on your play style. Whenever you use the Skill, it’llspawn a Tamoto on the field that deals regular damage to surrounding enemies. However, you can get extra effects from this ability depending on what you do after you use it once:
Finally, you can also use Chiori’s Burst regularly to get some extra damage. There are essentiallytwo ways of building Chioribased on the additional Skill effects that you like:

Weapons
Uraku Misugiri, Cinnabar Spindle, Festering Desire
If you’re an F2P or low-spending player in Genshin Impact, there’s a high chance that you’llonly have Chiori with zero constellations. In this case, the off-field turret-type support build is the best for this character since it capitalizes on the damage dealt by Tamoto. It’s highly recommended to use another Geo character that possesses a Geo Construct in this team.
Some examples for these characters areNingguang,Zhongli, orArataki Itto.
Golden Troupe is the perfect set for this build as it increases yourElemental Skill DMG by up to 70 percent as long as you’re not on the field. With an ally’s Geo Construct, you’re able to summon a second Tamoto on the field, which will directly double the damage dealt by the Skill.
When it comes to choosing a weapon for this build, Chiori’ssignature SwordUraku Misugiriwill undoubtedly give you the most value. However, you may replace it withCinnabar SpindleorFestering Desireif you were lucky enough to get them during their limited-time events.

Uraku Misugiri, Haran Geppaku Futsu,The Black Sword
As you might already know, you’ll be using the Geo Infusion from Chiori’s Elemental Skill in this build, which will arguablygive you much lesser value if your Chiori doesn’t have any constellations. However, once you get her to constellation six, this build is a beast due to her ability to get 100 percent uptime on the Geo Infusion.
You’ll be using the Husk of Opulent Dreams to get the most value from this build as itgives a massive boost to both your DEF and Geo DMG Bonus. Once again, you can use Chiori’s signature weapon here but a four-star like The Black Sword can also work decently.
You will have tobuy the battle passif you want to have access to The Black Sword.
Haran Geppaku Futsuis also a great choice for this build as itincreases your Normal Attack DMGand gives you an Elemental DMG Bonus at the same time.
Artifact Stat Priority For Chiori
Apart from having the limitation of being a Geo user, Chiori can also be quite hard to build when it comes to artifacts due to her split-scaling. Thankfully, the priority for your main and sub-stats stays the sameregardless of the build you use:
Crit DMG/Rate > DEF Percent > ATK Percent
Chiori Talent Priority
Just like all the other characters in Genshin Impact, Chiori also has three active talents thatcan be upgraded by ten levels while you’re trying to build her. On the other hand, you can automatically unlock the passives as you ascend her and get her to at least level 80 ascended.
Chiori’s Elemental Skill will be the first talent you’d want to focus on regardless of the build since itgives you the most damage unless you have Constellation Six. You can then focus on her Ultimate and you only need to upgrade her Normal Attack if you’re planning to use the Geo Infusion effect.
