Granblue Fantasy: Relinkis an action RPG that you may play solo or multiplayer in groups of four. Tackling quests at the Quest Corner, defeating monsters, and chilling in town with other players are all great, but sometimes you just want to take things at your own pace.

If you’re a solo player in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, you’ll have to do everything on your own. This means you’ll need to set up a party that can deal damage, tank, heal, and supply buffs. Below, we’ll take a look at some of the best characters to use when you’re playing solo.

6Siegfried

Useful Skills For Solo

Siegfried is one of the strongest solo characters thanks to his versatile skillset that lets him tank, buff, heal, and deal damage. Salvator and Mirage are two great defensive buffs that allow Siegfried and his team to heal from attacks, ignore debuffs, and quite nearly ignore all enemy attacks, too.

On the other hand, you have Verdrangen and Draconic Release for dealing some serious damage. With this setup, you might not even need other characters in your party; Siegfried can do everything on his own.

5Cagliostro

Cagliostro is an extremely versatile Earth-element character. She is able to provide tons of utility through her skills, namely Phantasmagoria for buffs, Reinforce for heals, and Mimic Doll for tanking big hits. At the same time, her normal and special attack combos can deal some great damage once you’re comfortable with their patterns.

Plus, most of her offensive skills make her special attack, Collapse, charge even faster, leading to even more damage. All of these aspects combine to make Cagliostro one of the strongest characters in Relink, and exceptionally good for solo players.

4Gran/Djeeta

The Captain of the Grandcypher crew is the most versatile character in the game. Gran/Djeeta has access to a skill for any situation - from buffs and debuffs to heals and damage, the Captain can do it all.

The Captain may seem simple at first, but their Arts mechanic is surprisingly in-depth. By performing combos and chain finishers, the Captain will build up their Arts level, which in turn powers up their next few skill uses. Staying at a high Arts level can make the Captain’s variety of skills even stronger, if you time things right.

3Charlotta

The captain of the Lumiel Order of Holy Knights, Charlotta, wields her prowess with a sword in battle like no one else in the Grandcypher crew. Her mix of defensive and offensive abilities makes her one of the strongest characters to use when you’re playing on your own.

Charlotta has some unique skills that put her on a different level from other characters in the game. Sacred Charge allows her to spread out her Skybound Arts Guage to all allies, preparing the party for a Full Burst, while Valiant Stance grants her a damage buff that gets stronger as long as she doesn’t get hit.

2Zeta

If you’re the type of player who would rather burst through the enemy before you ever need to think about healing or buffing, Zeta is the character for you. Her fast, powerful aerial attacks are unmatched in the Relink roster, leading to some extremely high damage with the right Sigil setup.

Infinite Wonders and Realm’s Majesty are two skills that inflict Zeta’s unique Arvess Fermare debuff, which causes them to take more damage from all her attacks. Additionally, Vengeful Flames grants Zeta Supplementary Damage, which is extremely useful when you’re build is hitting the damage cap.

vane recruitment

1Vane

Vane is a high-risk, high-reward character this is perfect for solo players. He has access to several self-healing skills like Heroic Beat and Soul Eruption, as well as potent buffs like Breakthrough, Drachenstolz, and Rampart. Drachenstolz grants Vane the Guts buff, which allows him to survive any attack with one HP remaining.

In addition to his amazing buffs that incentivize self-reliance, Vane also has access to very high damage through his combos and unique Beatdown gauge. Building up the Beatdown gauge using his special attack combos before unleashing a massive series of swings will have Vane topping the damage charts, all while surviving through anything the enemy can throw at him.
