Pyro has been one of the most popular elements ever since the start ofGenshin Impact. One of the most sought-after standard units, Diluc, also belongs to this element. Moreover, it currently has some of the most broken DPS units like Hu Tao and Lyney.

It also seems like HoYoverse doesn’t plan to stop making some of the most fun characters have a Pyro vision, which is evident with Gaming’s release in the Version 4.4 update. Once built properly, this four-star character can easily clear all the endgame content for you.

The Best Gaming Builds

The best part about Gaming’s kit is that his abilities have a small cooldown, making him perfect for open-world exploration as well. With his Elemental Skill, you can leap forward andjump high in the air if you manage to hit a wall or an enemy. The Plunge Attack right after this jump is buffed and has Pyro infusion.

This skill inherently has a six-second cooldown, but you canuse it infinitely for a short period after using his Elemental Burst. Another important thing about Gaming is that you can’t simply keep smashing buttons if you want to get the most value out of him since you need to chase the Man Chai formed by his Burst.

If you choose to hit enemies with your Normal Attacks instead of chasing Man Chai, you’ll get fewer Plunge Attacksin the Burst’s duration.

Thankfully, he’s one of the easier DPS characters to build because of the obvious choices in his artifacts and weapons:

Weapons

Beacon of the Reed Sea,Wolf’s Gravestone,Lithic Blade,Tidal Shadow

For most people, using the Marechaussee Hunter artifact set will be the best forGaming. This set got released alongside Fontaine, and it gives the equipping characterup to 36 percent Crit Rate if they constantly lose or gain HP. Both Gaming’s Elemental Skill and Burst change his HP, facilitating this set.

Stacking the Crit Rate from this set becomes easieronce you unlock the Dance of Amity passive.

All the weapons mentioned in the table above can work quite well with this build, but Beacon of the Reed Sea is the best in slot sinceyou can make use of almost every stat provided by the weapon. With the Crit Rate from this weapon and Marechaussee set, you can just stack a ton of Crit DMG on this character.

It’s also important to mention thatLithic Bladeis only good if you’re going to use a team of Liyue characterswith Gaming. Thankfully, this is quite easy to do with the following characters:

Beacon of the Reed Sea,Wolf’s Gravestone,Blackcliff Slasher,Serpent Spine

If you’re planning to use Gaming in a reaction-based team forVaporize, Melt, or other Pyro-related reactions, this build can be a better choice. Crimson Witch of Flames provides a direct DMG boost to the reaction-based damage, which can go up to 40 percent based on the reaction you’re using.

The best part about this build is that, unlike Marechaussee Hunter, you’ll actually use the two-piece bonus on Gaming as well. Serpent Spine is a great four-star choice for this buildsince you’ll stay on the field as Gaming most of the time.

Artifact Stat Priority For Gaming

Once you decide the build you want to go for, the next step is to choose the main and sub-stats for each artifact. Thankfully, it’snot that difficult to decide the required stats for Gamingsince he’s quite generic in that term:

Crit DMG/Rate

Crit Rate/DMG > Energy Recharge > ATK Percent

It’s important to have a decent amount of Energy Recharge on Gaming, especiallyif he’s going to be the only Pyro unitin your team.

Gaming Talent Priority

Reading Gaming’s talents for the first time can be quite confusing since his Elemental Skill states that the attack from his Skill counts as Plunging Attack, which gives off the idea that you need to level up his Normal Attacktalent to get higher damage. However, this isn’t the case.

He has a separate multiplier on his Elemental Skill for that attack, and this Skill isalso the talent that you should focus on first while upgrading. You can upgrade his Elemental Burst right after. When it comes to the Normal Attacks, you can upgrade them if you’re planning to use his attacks in the downtime.

This is only worth it if you’re using him in ateam with a constellation six Bennett.
