The FN F2000, last seen in Vanguard, was added inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ssecond season. Known as the BP50, this bullpup assault rifle has a blazing fast fire rate and best-in-class mobility. Fans of SMGs will feel right at home using this weapon.
Unlocking the BP50 is rather straightforward, but finding a good build for this weapon can prove challenging. This guide will explain how to unlock the BP50, and we will cover two powerful builds that will suit most playstyles. We explain how to create a zero recoil build for this weapon, and we showcase a powerful Tac Stance alternative for close-quarters combat.

We’ve updated this guide to include up-to-date attachment combinations for each BP50 build, making it a CQC powerhouse in the right hands.
How To Unlock The BP50
The BP50 is unlocked by completing fiveArmory Unlock challenges,which are unlocked upon reaching level 35. You can view your Armory Unlocks under the “Challenges” section of the start menu. Activate the challenge to start earning progress. Each daily challenge you complete thereafter will count towards unlocking the BP50.
The JAK Revenger Kit for the BP50 is also tied to Armory Unlocks, unlocked upon completing eight daily challenges.
Accuracy BP50 Build
While the BP50 doesn’t have much recoil by default, this buildremoves nearly all recoilby stacking multiple recoil reduction attachments. The end result is an assault rifle that has minimal recoil, visual recoil, and has a solid TTK up close. It also keeps a fairly low ADS speed of 240ms, making this an amazing option for aggressive playstyles.
We start by equipping theQuartermaster Suppressor, eliminating near all horizontal recoil from this weapon at the cost of ADS speed. We counter this with theDR-6 Handstop.For visual recoil, we use theMOAT-40 Stockto reduce it by a whopping 25%. Throw on theLore-9 Heavy Barrelfor more range and45 Round Magsto finish the build.
Loadout Recommendations
Since the BP50 experiences damage falloff quite early, we recommend aloadout that focuses on aggression.TheInfantry Vestis a good start, granting you Running Sneakers for free.Covert Sneakerswill muffle your footsteps to allow for silent flanks, andMag Holsterwill greatly cut down on this weapon’s otherwise lengthy reload speed. We also recommend usingScavenger Glovesto keep your ammo reserves full.
The second gear slot is up to you. We recommendGhostto stay off enemy radar, but feel free to use EOD or Tac Mask instead.
Your choice of equipment will highly depend on the game mode and your playstyle.Stimsare a great pick for general play, instantly healing you when used.Throwing KnivesandFrag Grenadesare always good in the Lethal slot. As for your Field Upgrade,Dead Silenceis solid if you want to temporarily give yourself Ghost. For objective modes like Hardpoint, you can’t go wrong with aTrophy System.
Tac Stance BP50 Build
The BP50’s great mobility stats make it a solid close-range assault rifle if you spec intoTactical Stance accuracy and strafe speed.This build aims to spec into both stats to make this competitive with most SMGs.
Reducing your Tactical Stance spread is vital for this build. TheXTEN TX-12 Handstopstrikes a great balance between accuracy and speed, and theCronne Intlas MSP-12has the best Tac Stance accuracy out of all lasers and optics. TheNormandy-41 Short Barrelwill then buff the gun’s strafe speed and further improve your Tac Stance accuracy, reducing your spread angle to 1.3°. This makes the gunhighly accurate up to 25 meters.
For the final two attachments, we use theScratch 20-L Suppressorto stay off the radar andCCG-Tac Tapeto further improve our tac stance accuracy. Stick to Tac Stance when fighting up close, and swap to ADS when you need to eliminate targets from longer distances. Pair this with a stealth loadout, and you’re able to compete against most SMG users.
Stealth is needed if you want to use this weapon up close, so we’ll be running theNinja Vestto gain the effects of Covert Sneakers for free. This opens up the boot slot for something else. We useStalker Bootstogreatly improve our side-to-side movement in gunfights. For the gear perk, useGhostto stay off enemy radar while moving.Scavenger Glovesare also nice for recovering ammo from kills.
The Ninja Vest has the unique property of spawning you with additional Throwing Knives when you spawn, so we highly recommend usingThrowing Knivesas your Lethal.Stimsare always a good Tactical choice, but feel free to use something else that suits your playstyle.
JAK Revenger BP50 Build
This build uses theJAK Revenger Kitto turn the BP50 into the ultimate SMG/AR hybrid, sacrificing effective for a boost to the gun’s handling and mobility stats. We install the conversion kit to reduce the gun’s ADS speed, sprint to fire delay, and increase the weapon’s mobility. This results in a weapon that’s somewhat inaccurate at range, but we have four more attachment slots to play with.
We use theJAK Glassless Optic, TRST-IV Grip Tape, 1mw Artemis Laser, and the Quartermaster Suppressorto substantially improve the weapon’s aim stability and firing aim stability stats. With all five attachments, you have an aggressive AR/SMG hybrid that is perfect for smaller maps like Shipment and Shoot House.
Speed is key for a build like this, so we recommend you run theCompression Carrier Vest.This will give you Tac Mask for free and grants Quick Fix from MW2, a perk that immediately begins HP regeneration upon landing a kill. Since the larger magazine on the BP50 takes some time to reload, we recommend usingMag Holsterto reload as fast as possible.
From there, we runRunning Sneakersto extend our tactical sprint duration andAssault Glovesfor greater midair accuracy, although feel free to replace the gloves with something else. Beyond that, we useThrowing Knivesfor quick one-hit melee kills. For moments where you need to remain off the minimap, runDead Silenceto gain the effects of Ghost and Dead Silence for a lengthy duration.
