InPalworld, you are given hundreds of tools, weapons, armor, saddles, and more to help establish your base and capture as many Pals as you can. One of these items is accessories, which provide passive buffs that can help you survive, and only two can be equipped at a time.
Accessories are obtained either by exploring dungeons or looting random chests in the wild, and come in three different tiers. Although every accessory has a use in most scenarios and against all Pal types, some are essential to maximizing your potential as an explorer and fighter.
8Ring Of Flame Resistance +2
Greatly Lowers Fire Damage
Meant to protect you against Fire-based attacksfrom both Palsand humans and even a rogue fire pit if you aren’t careful, the Ring of Flame Resistance can help stop the constant points of damage from being on fire.
This is especially useful against Fire Pals as their Fire attacks are pretty difficult to dodge, as they can be spouts of flame or even wide, shotgun-like blasts that always seem to hit. You should always wear this pendant when fighting against Fire-type alpha Pals.
7Ring Of Dragon Resistance +2
Greatly Lowers Dragon Damage
Like the Ring of Flame Resistance, The Ring of Dragon Resistance protects against a certain damage type; in this case, Dragon. While this will only come from Pals, Dragon-type attacks are among the strongest in the game.
This accessory is especially important when attempting tocatch or defeat Jetragon, as it is level 50, has the most powerful Dragon attacks in the game, and will likely destroy you otherwise. Although, it’s plenty important against other Dragon-type Pals as well.
6Defense Pendant +2
Greatly Raises Defense
The Defense Pendant gives you a flat bonus to your defense, making incoming attacks deal less damage. What’s great about this pendant is you’re able to wear multiple and the effect stacks, making you almost bulletproof.
This is useful if you end up fighting alpha Pals way above your current level or need to survive against syndicate towers using especially strong Pals. You’ll probably be better off with other accessories if you’re just exploring, though.
5Pendant Of Diligence +2
Greatly Raises Work Speed
One of the more frustrating experiences in Palworld is having to grind away to get basic resources, especially if you don’t have the Pals or bases to do it for you. With the Pendant of Diligence, you can increase your work speed to accommodate this.
While you can use this to increase Pal’s work speed, it’s useful for crafting, mining, chopping wood, cooking, and everything else your base needs. This means it should just sit in a chest in your base until you need it to craft ammo or food when you need it right away.
4Heat-Resistant Underwear +2
Greatly Raises Heat Resistance
When traveling to diverse regions like the deserts or Mount Obsidian, you will have to be equipped with heat resistance gear to avoid taking damage. To avoid having to swap and craft armors that use up precious ingots, you can instead just use Heat-Resistant Underwear.
The lower-tier underwear won’t prevent you from taking damage in certain areas but will lower it.
The benefit of this accessory is that you can remove it when you enter certain interior locations, like dungeons and syndicate towers. Also, for establishing bases in hot regions, it will be necessary to have it equipped while you work on setting up cooling stations.
3Thermal Underwear +2
Greatly Raises Cold Resistance
Like the Heat-Resistant Underwear, the Thermal Underwear protects against the weather, but specifically in colder regions. The Frostbound Mountains and Astral Mountains are the best locations to have this equipped.
In rarer circumstances, this accessory can keep you warm enough to retrieve your gear if you happen to die at night or in colder regions. This means it’s best to have an extra one stashed in your base just in case.
2Life Pendant +2
Greatly Raises Health
Similar to the Defense Pendant, the Life Pendant protects you by giving you a higher hit point maximum. If you combine it with the Ring of Flame Resistance, you can ensure you won’t die from damage over time and will help in risky escapes.
you may also stack the effect by equipping multiple pendants simultaneously.
If you have food items, then you can avoid wearing the Defense Pendant and opt for a very strong build that will let you survive any attack. However, the lower-tier versions of this pendant aren’t worth keeping, as they don’t improve your life total to a significant degree.
1Attack Pendant +2
Greatly Raises Attack
The Attack Pendant is the only accessory you can use to increase your damage output in any way, including against structures, trees, and rocks. This pendant is essential for fighting alpha Palsand syndicate towers, especially past level 30.
Although you can stack this effect by equipping multiple pendants, it’s better to use the other slot for defense, unless you avoid damage altogether.
Unless you are constantly dying in cold or hot areas, the Attack Pendant should always take up at least one slot if you want to make your time in Palworld much easier. The wildlife sanctuaries can help you find the attack pendant without fighting if you have a flying Pal to take you there safely.
