Card combinations inClash Royaleplay a huge role in your victory or defeat, and the synergy between cards is entirely dependent on your skill to harmonize the troops. Creating a deck built upon these card combinations leads to positive elixir trades, meaning you may either defend or attack and end up with more elixir than your opponent, putting you at a slight advantage.
Of course, skill plays a huge role in capitalizing on these combos, and some combinations fare much better than others, sometimes requiring lesser skill but better outcomes in certain situations.

10Three Musketeers + Heal Spirit
A Healing Combo That Can Heal Anything Used To Counter The Musketeers
The Three Musketeers have had a very rocky history in Clash Royale, once being an overpowered win condition to being barely used. To fix this, Supercell unintentionally created a meta that made this easily countered troop much stronger by going back on its word and adding a heal spell.
The heal spell was initially overpowered and was nerfed until everyone stopped using it, eventually being reworked into the heal spirit. Sometimes in mid-ladder, there are players using the heal spirit in conjunction with the three musketeers and finding some good value in this unlikely combination.

9Giant Skeleton + Clone
What’s Better Than One Death Bomb? Two Death Bombs
Here’s a combo that requires serious skill because getting the Giant Skeleton to the opponent’s tower is a hassle. When it does eventually get there, using the clone spell doubles the death damage of the Giant Skeleton, taking down the tower for just nine elixir.
Unfortunately, this combo doesn’t really fare well in one-versus-one game modes, but it has a huge fanbase in 2v2. If you’re extra, mirror the giant skeletons with your teammate and then use two clone spells to get a total of twelve death bombs, effectively nuking the arena.

8X Bow + Tesla
Using Defense As Offense Has Never Been Easier
The X Bow has also been in and out of the meta and, at one point, was so popular that all you saw in the leaderboards were variations of decks containing the X Bow and Tesla combo. After a much-needed nerf, the effectiveness of this deck was still good in the meta, and players use X Bow decks to this day.
All you have to do is place the X Bow to target the opponent’s princess towers and put a Tesla in front of it for defense. After that, watch as your opponent scrambles to control the damage an undefended X Bow can inflict.

7Goblin Giant + Sparky
An Unlikely Combination Dominating Mid Ladder
A fairly overpowered archetype in theClash Royale meta was the Giant Goblin Sparky combinationthat dominated Top Ladder. The Giant Goblin was unbalanced and overpowered for a couple of seasons, and placing the Sparky behind it would destroy anything your opponent placed to defend against it.
Add a tornado into the mix, and whatever defense your opponent concocts will be vaporized by a single shot while the Goblin Giant slowly takes down the princess towers. The glory days of this combo have passed, but it has a dedicated fanbase in mid-ladder.

6Evolved Firecracker + Tornado
Splash Damages Everything At Once
Evolutions in Clash Royale have always been really powerful, andthe Firecracker is a great defensive card by itself. Pair the Evolved form of the Firecracker with the tornado, and you have a cheap offense that can whittle down the opponent’s towers fast.
The trick is placement; Try to place the tornado near the opponent’s princess tower to pull any troops back to the tower for the Evolved Firecracker to shoot at. She can shoot at least one or two shots into the tower, dealing a lot of damage that is tough to recover from.

5Lumberjack + Balloon
A Raged Balloon Is An Unstoppable Force
Another combination that has a dedicated fanbase in mid-ladder anddoesn’t require much skill is the Lumberjack Balloon combo. It’s an easy to play nine elixir offense that can take an entire tower if not defended right.
All you have to do to capitalize is to place both troops at the bridge and have the lumberjack absorb all the damage. Once it dies, he’ll drop a rage spell, and your Balloon will deal massive damage before dying, too, after which you defend till the time runs out and victory is yours.

4Fisherman + Hunter
Destroy Any Tank In A Couple Of Seconds
The Fisherman card in the right hands isprobably one of the most overpowered legendaries in the game, but learning his specific placements can be a lot for players. Thankfully, there is a fairly easy combo that you can use for defense against heavy troops like the Goblin Giant and the Mega Knight.
Have your Fisherman pull these troops towards them and place a Hunter right next to him to instantly destroy whatever troop your opponent places. If left alone, you can also build a nice counter push with the hunter, depending on your deck.

3Graveyard + Poison
The Longer You Play The Game, The Higher The Chances Of Winning
The Graveyard Poison deck has been in and out of the metamore times than any other deck. This is because Poison receives equal amounts of buffs and nerfs, and new cards like the Little Prince are extra susceptible to it.
Placing the Graveyard by itself is easy to counter with cheap cards like the Goblins or any other swarm troop, but poisoning on top of the Graveyard prevents this and deals a lot of damage to the tower, punishing the opponent if he makes a pre-move.

2Miner + Poison
Chip Damage For Cheap Elixir
The Miner will never be nerfed and will always find his place in the top decks every season, with new combos being discovered all the time. One of the best of these combos is the Miner and Poison pair, which is, in principle, similar to the Graveyard Poison combo.
Just like the latter, the Miner can be countered by swarm troops. But place it with a poison, and you’re able to deal massive damage onto the princess towers and even damage other counters to the miner, potentially even preventing a counter push by your opponent.

1Miner + Wall Breakers
A Five Elixir Killer Combo
The Wall Breakers are a super cheap two elixir win condition that you’re able to keep cycling as often as possible, but it has one massive weakness: the Log. The Log, however, isn’t able to completely kill the Wall Breakers, and the princess tower finishes them off.
you may build on this weakness by sending in the Miner that can help the Wall Breakers connect, dealing more damage than the rocket for one less elixir. It’s no surprise this combo has been used in top decks for multiple seasons, and with the Evolved Wall Breakers, this combination is seeing even better days.
