Nintendopotentially brought the curtain down on itsamiiboera last month byreleasing its Sora amiibo. The addition of theKingdom Heartshero to itsSmash Ultimatecollection means every fighter in the game now has their own amiibo. For figures released alongside a new game, you have to go back even further. Zelda and Ganondorf’sTears of the Kingdomamiibo were released last year, and after selling out fast wherever they pop up, the figures are back in stock at Best Buy.

Zelda and Ganondorf’s amiibo joined Link’s which was released at the same time as theBreath of the Wildsequel. No other characters from the game got figures unlike its predecessor, so if you grab Zelda and Ganondorf you’ll have them all, provided you already have Link. Zelda’s Tears of the Kingdom amiibo is $15.99, and Ganonodorf’s is $19.99 since it’s quite a bit bigger, and both can be bought from Best Buy through the links in the boxes below.

As well as looking good whether part of a collection or all on their own, like all other amiibo, Zelda and Ganondorf also have a practical use. Scanning them gets you a new fabric for Link’s glider, and doing it daily will get you some bonus items. There is a not-so fun extra with the Ganondorf amiibo that you’ll need to be wary of, though. Scanning the Gerudo villain’s amiibo can sometimes result in a bomb appearing next to Link. Just another way Ganondorf uses to try and stop Link from saving Hyrule.

Tears Of The Kingdom Ganondorf Amiibo

Ganondorf’s Tears of the Kingdom look, which many were big fans of at launch, now has its own amiibo. Announced alongside a new Zelda figure and available from November 2023.

Even though new amiibo may now be a thing of the past, Nintendo continues to reprint and restock other figures, some of which have been missing from store shelves for a while.Select Pokemon amiibo have been restockedon the Nintendo store, andfigures from Monster Hunter Stories 2are also available again. The Switch sequel is beingbundled with a port of the original game, hence the figures being restocked as Nintendo hopes a new group of fans will be playing the games for the first time this summer.

Princess Zelda Tears of the Kingdom amiibo

Tears Of The Kingdom Zelda Amiibo

Zelda’s first Tears of the Kingdom amiibo has the princess holding a repaired Master Sword. While tapping the figure on your Switch won’t fix the legendary weapon, it will give you a unique new fabric for your paraglider.

Much like almost everything Nintendo, the future of amiibo is currently up in the air. Introduced during the3DSera, it’s unclear whether the figures will be coming with us when we move onto whatever Nintendo has cooking for after the Switch. We likely won’t know what awaits amiibo in Nintendo’s next-gen, if anything, until its next console is revealed. It’s still rumored to be released about a year from now during the first quarter of 2025.
