Conventional wisdom tells us that sometimes your best move when stranded is to stay put, conserve your energy, and hope that help finds you. The thing is, what if you crash-land in Antarctica, where you’re completely alone, isolated, and stuck in a nighttime blizzard where temperatures have plunged to 100 degrees below zero?
Near Death places you in that exact scenario, forcing you to explore and use any tool at your disposal to survive, lest you succumb to the elements, which can cause you to freeze to death in mere minutes. Thank goodness you can experience this from the warmth of your own home.
