2024 has quickly becomethe year of Shadow for Sonic fans. However, before the brooding black and red hedgehog is introduced to Generations and Sonic’s growing movie universe, Knuckles gets the spotlight. Idris Elba’s take on the echidna will get his very own show, debuting on Paramount Plus on April 26, and to celebrate that, a very detailed statue modeled after Knuckles' look inSonic the Hedgehog 2is now available for pre-order.
There are two versions of the statue - the regular version, and the First 4 Figures exclusive edition. Made of resin, the Knuckles statue is just shy of 12 inches tall and captures one of Sonic’s oldest friends in an action stance, based on the moment he, Sonic, and Tails join forces to take down Dr. Robotnik in the most recent blue blur movie.

If you want your Knuckles statue to look even more like the character from the movie, First 4 Figures' exclusive edition is equipped with some LED lighting to make the model feel even more special. The statue has lights in its eyes, making them glow red like they do when Knuckles harnesses his power in the movie, and also LED-powered lighting around his fists, again, making it look like he is about to unleash his incredible power on whoever is unlucky enough to be standing in front of him.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Knuckles Standoff Statue
First 4 Figures' Knuckles Standoff statue captures the echidna in a fighting stance, modeled after his look in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The exclusive edition adds LED lights to Knuckles' eyes and glowing lightning to his fists.
If you’re fine with the regular Knuckles statue, it’s available from First 4 Figures or Big Bad Toy Store starting from $339.99. The exclusive statue is a First 4 Figures exclusive priced at $413.99, although the price will eventually go up if you don’t take advantage of the site’s early bird offer. The normal statue has a release window of Q4 2024, while the exclusive edition won’t ship until Q1 2025. That means neither will be here in time to watch the Knuckles show with you. Well, not the first time you watch it.
If you want to celebrate Knuckles a little earlier than that - and you want to do it for a lot less than $340 -he and Shadow have their very own Lego BrickHeadz. The characters have presumably been paired together for the set due to them taking the lead when it comes to Sonic projects for the year ahead. Both have their own Lego sets too, and there’s a Rouge Minifigure in the Knuckles one. Perhaps an indicator of who we might see show up next in the movies/TV show.
