Rude of the Turks in FF7 Rebirth

Rude And Elena Boss Fight Overview

Speed is the single biggest threat in this boss fight, sinceRude is fairly fast, and Elena is downright hasty. Elena’s higher movement rate makes her a little trickier to land physical hits on, butshe is also the easier of the pair to stagger.

Both Rude and Elena make use oftechniques that can paralyze your party members. Elena’s long-rangeStun Grenade, which she seems to favor utilizing whenno one is targeting her, will send sparks across the arena that stun on contact.

Elena and Rude using Petite Powerhouse and Atlas Stance moves in FF7 Rebirth

Thestun statusis a debuff whichprohibits the affected character from doing anything for several seconds. It isn’t long, but it can feel far longer when you’re juggling two powerful foes.

Rude, on the other hand, uses several variations of aShockwave attack that blasts linear electrical lines ahead of himwith the same paralyzation effect. The Turks will use these attacks regularly enough thatbeing stunned is a constant possibility.

Elena, who isweak to lightning, usesPetite Powerhousewhen she’s low on health. Rude, who isweak to wind, usesAtlas Stance. These will charge up into the Turks own’Synergy Skill- soget rid of one Turk before the other.

Rude And Elena Battle Strategy

It’s a prime idea to haveThunder and Aeroheading into this fight. SinceAerithmay need to be micromanaged so thather Cure and Pray are always there when needed, it might be best togive Cloud one and Aerith the other- rather than having Aerith wield both elements.

What of Tifa, then?Tifa is a terrific Elena counter, as you’ll be fighting speed with speed. Tifa’srapid-fire punchescan help to keep Elena at bay, andshouldlower the likelihood of Elena using Stun Grenade quite as frequently as she otherwise would.

Tifa should deployUnbridled Strengthad nauseam, andwhenever a Synergy Skill is charged, target Elenawith it to keep the pressure on her. The sooner we eliminate Elena, the easier the remainder of this match will be.

Speaking of pressure,Elena is pressured when struck by powerful abilities, whileRude’s pressured when hit by them while his guard is up. Both, however, are heavily pressured if theirSynergy Skill is interrupted.

With either Cloud or Aerith casting Thunder when they can, and the other one casting Aero, you ought to be able to maintain an edge from start to finish.Dodging the paralyzing sparks is a job best left to Tifa, so you may wish to play as her directly.

Once Rude’s on his own, hishigher defense and HPwill merely add time to the bout, rather than real danger. He’s no match for Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa all coming at him hard and fast.Cast Thunder and lightning-elemental abilitiesuntil he cracks, and the war is won!
