The third month of 2024 has only just begun, and it’s a little wild how many big games we’ve already seen this year.Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth,Persona 3 Reload, andHelldivers 2, just to name a few. Not to mentionFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthentering the fray a few days ago. So many games already this year that you might have already forgotten aboutPrince of Persia: The Lost Crown, or perhaps missed it entirely. If you did miss it, now’s your best chance to rectify that.
Best Buy currently has The Lost Crown on sale for just $29.99, regardless of the platform you want to play it on. That includes theNintendo Switch, and yes, it does run well on it. $30 is also the lowest price The Lost Crown has been, provided you don’t includethe $10 copies that were spotted in certain Walmart locationslast month.

You can pick up a reduced price copy of The Lost Crown through the link in the box below. Best Buy hasn’t clarified how long the sale will run for, nor how much stock of the game it has available. Availability may well depend on where you are in the US, especially if you plan on heading to your nearest location to pick up your copy rather than having it delivered.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
WHERE TO PLAY
Prince of Persia; The Lost Crown is a 2D platformer from Ubisoft Montpellier. Using his combat skills and time powers, the Prince must explore the mysteries of Persia and Mount Qaf, battling a range of enemies along the way.
I’m already fearful The Lost Crown will be overlooked when it comes to discussing 2024’s best games of the year nine months from now. Sargon’s Metroidvania adventure is still my game of the year so far, although I’m only an hour into Rebirth and have only dabbled with Helldivers, so that might change by the weekend. The latest Prince of Persia game will almost certainly still be in my top ten by the end of the year though, and I hope I’m not the only one.
Hopefully a price cut will further hopes thatUbisoftand other major studios make more games like The Lost Crown. Smaller games, presumably with a smaller budget, that are still fantastic. Early indications suggesting the game has only sold 300,000 copies so far suggest that won’t be the case, though. Fingers crossed sale prices lead to The Lost Crown having a long tail and the next time we hear about its sales figures, they have risen significantly.
