Summary
Video game music has a way of sticking with us for years, maybe even our entire lives if it’s good enough. It’s hard to imagine a time when the originalSonic’s Green Hill Zone theme won’t be my ringtone, or when the needle drop in the newFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthtrailer that pulls music from the original game won’t give me chills. There also won’t be a time when songs from certainPokemongames don’t transport me back to the in-game locations with which they’re synonymous.
As fun as it is to go back and play Pokemon games from the past, there’s no need to find the exact locations where you’re favorite tracks play to experience them again. You can simply buy the corresponding volume of Pokemon’s Super Music Collection and listen to whichever song you want, whenever you want. Turning the soundtracks of various iconic Pokemon games into physical media for years, three new additions to the Super Music Collection are now available to pre-order in the US.

The three latest Pokemon games to have their soundtracks added to the Super Music Collection areSword & Shield,Legends: Arceus, andScarlet & Violet. All three soundtracks went on sale in Japan last year, but now you can buy them in the US on Amazon, or at least pre-order them in preparation for their release on March 8. All three soundtracks are available exclusively on CD and feature every single song included in the respective games.

Scarlet & Violet is significantly bigger, boasting 208 tracks which bumps the collection’s price up to $50.99. All three CDs are made up of four discs each to accommodate all of that music.
