What can you say about this one? It hits every single enemy on the battlefield, no matter where they are positioned, and it deals extreme damage. On top of that,it is also a fire-type attack, so if your opponent is weak to that element, it will hit themextrahard.
So, what is the catch?Well, that is atremendousamount of MP to spend.This is the most expensive skill in the game. We think it is worth it, but if you are planning to use it frequently,you are going to want to give Kiryu accessories to lower the MP costs of his skills,and increase his base MP.
Pair this skill with the Action Star’s Relentless Dragon skill toDOUBLEits damage.

We didn’t include many single-hitting Ultimate Skills for a reason: for the most part, they are pretty situational, and are only ever worth using if an enemy is weak to the element tethered to them. This is especially true once you build up your synergy with other characters (which ultimate skills can’t take advantage of), Essence of Searing is alittledifferent, though.
While Essence of Searing is a fire-based attack,it also has the added benefit of doing more damage the more status ailments you have stacked on your enemy.And at 45 MP, it isn’t a particularly expensive skill (comparatively, at least). If you like stacking up negative status effects on enemies (which is often a great approach for bosses), this attack can be extremely potent, even if the enemyisn’tweak to fire.

The Essence of Sujimon Supremacy is a magic-based attack that utilizes the spirit of your Sujimon to deal hefty damage to your foes. While that isn’t particularly unique when it comes to these Ultimate Attacks, where Sujimon Supremacy stands out is in its range: like Kiryu’s Essence of the Dragon God,this attack will hit literally every enemy on the screen.
So, what is the downside, then? Well, first of all, it is only available to Kasuga, as he is the only character who can get the Sujimancer job. Beyond that, it is hellishly expensive, using 80 mp!Still, when it comes to crow-clearing magic attacks, it is among the best.ddd

This attack sees the Action Star utilize a variety of everyday objects as martial arts weapons.It hits a group of enemies and simultaneously heals the user.Fans of classic martial arts movies will likely appreciate this one, as it acts as a homage to some of the best of ‘em.
What is surprising aboutthis attack is that it genuinely hitsprettyhard. It doesn’t feel like you really lose any damage despite this attack also being a heal.It doesn’t have any elemental properties, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as it means it can be used against every enemy equally (as long as they aren’t resistant to physical attacks).
This is one of the most interesting Ultimate Attacks in the game. On one hand, it is an AOE attack that will apply your weapon’s element. Simple. However, it has one large added benefit,it has the chance of healing your party members by a massive amount.
The thing is, that healing skill isn’t uncommon. You willfrequentlybe healing your party member for a giant chunk of HP. It would probably be too risky to depend on this for your primary heal, butwhen your party members are hurt, yet not in critical condition, you can start throwing this attack out and see what happens.Worst case scenario, you still do a respectable amount of damage to a group of enemies.
Assassin (Seonhee exclusive)
This attack is pretty simple. It is an electricity-based, magic ultimate skill that hits a moderately large group of enemies. Like many of the attacks that are associated with electricity, it has the ability to paralyze enemies. However, what makes it stand out is that the Essence of Wicked Web paralyzes foesfrequently. It is more likely than not to paralyze opponents.So, unless they are immune, this attack can grant players a considerable amount of control.
You may notice thatSeonhee, Saeko, Nanba, and Zhao all have basically the same Ultimate Attack. The primary difference is the element and what status ailment they inflict.Saeko’s Essence of Magnum Bottle inflicts Cold, while Nanba’s Essence of Pyro Prison and Zhao’s Essence of Wok and a Hard Place inflict Burn. Cold and Burn deal gradual damage and are great, but theEssence of Wicked Web’s Paralysis is just clearly better, as it completely steals turns from opponents.
A magic attack is nice, but do you know what is nicer? Stripping an enemy of their buffs. That is the magic that the Essence Of Suction Spiral grants you.Nearly every tough foe you will encounter in the game likes to boost a stat or two. Well, this skill puts an end to that.And you know what? It isn’t eventhatexpensive.
You will sometimes find yourself stripping an enemy’s buffs only to have them try to add them back. But that is a win too, as it means you wasted their turn. You can just strip those buffs off them immediately afterward. And since it is a magic-type attack, it is undodgable, so highly evasive enemies will be hit every time. This is a staple skill, and amajorgame-changer!

The Essence of the Hell Hive is one of the Kunoichi’s Ultimate Skills. This one hits a large column of enemies and deals “Extreme” amounts of magic damage.
Where this skillreallyshines is its ability to inflict not only poison, but also paralysis on your enemies.These are easily two of the better status effects in the game, so having a chance to inflict both, while also dealing substantial damage, is pretty incredible. This move is the bee’s knees!
The Host’s Essence of Rose Typhoon is pretty much the same move, but it burns instead of poisons.
