To obtain the first Soma Tree Petal, start from the entrance of theHaven areain the game. Proceed to the right, passing the Wak-Wak Tree. You will enter an area with water wheels. Descend all the way down to the bottom. When you jump on the ground, there will be a grid that swings andprevents you from descendingfurther.
Go to the left and navigate through sections filled with spikes and traps. By doing so, you will open the grid on the ground, creating a shortcut. Continue to the right and descend downwards. Here, the left side will already be closed off, and there will be ablue-wrapped switchabove to the right to proceed. Hit it upwards to rotate it.
This action will open an iron gate. Proceed to the next room after receiving the"The Lost Warriors" side questfrom Nojab. After solving the water wheel puzzle in this room, a battle awaits you. When you defeat theUndead Prisoner, you will receive the Time Crystal and your first Soma Tree Petal as a reward.
If you are progressing through the main quest, it’s impossible to miss this.
500 Time Crystals
The Magi in Haven will sell you a Soma Tree Petal for 500 Time Crystals.
5 Spirited-Sand Jar
To obtain this, you need to collect at leastfive Spirit Jars. Start at the Wak-Wak Tree in Haven. Head to the right. Descend the water-wheel area to the bottom. Climb the handholds on the wall to the right.
You’ll see a room with beams of light streaming down. This is theProphecy Room; enter it. After going to the right side of the room, press the Interact button. From above, along withTime Crystals, a Soma Tree Petal will fall to the ground.
Dimensional Claw power
To obtain this petal, you need to catch something with anexplosion featureusing theDimensional Claw. The red exploding barrels in this area will suffice. Start fromOld Royal Road, the point where we first entered the Lower City, and head right. After passing over the wooden platform, useRush of Simurghon the pole above the stairs and jump up. Move to the right from here and enter through the door with the red flag.
Go pastFariba’s locationwith carpets and open the barred door on your right if you haven’t already. After jumping down, continue to the right. As you progress, you’ll encounter a columned section to your right. Descend to the lower left area from here and you’ll see destructibleyellow stones. After catching and throwing the thing with the Claw at the stones, proceed to the left and descend from the wooden platforms.
You will reach a dark area. Jump down from here and break the wooden door to your left. Continue straight ahead, and you’ll likely encounter a monster you haven’t seen before. After defeating it, move downwards from the wooden platform on the far left. There will be another breakable wooden door on the middle level; break it and continue to the left.
If you continue left from here, you’ll find a switch that leads to aWak-Wak Treeif you haven’t explored it before. Instead, turn to the upper right. Upon climbing onto the wooden platform, you’ll see the Petal on the right side.Break the wooden boardsblocking the narrow passage in the wall and slide to collect it.
20 Spirited-Sand Jars
To obtain this, you need to collect at least20 Spirit Jars. Start at the Wak-Wak Tree in Haven. Head to the right. Descend the water-wheel area to the bottom. Climb the handholds on the wall to the right.
Sixth Soma Tree Petal
Chakram Shadow of the Simurgh power, Slay 8 Lost Warriors In “The Lost Warriors” Side Quest
Start from the Wak-Wak Tree in Haven and head to the area with the waterwheel on the right side. After moving down to the bottom of this area, jump inside the iron grate below. Proceed through the stairs on the right and then turn left. After moving down, you’ll see an iron-barred door on the left side.Teleport behind the doorusing the Chakram Shadow Of Simurgh ability.
After moving downwards on the right side, then go below on the left side. On the right side, if you haven’t found it already, you’ll find the Spirited Sand Jar. But you need to turn to the left again, where you’ll encounter another iron-barred door. Use the Chakram Shadow Of Simurgh power to pass through it.
After moving enough to the left and descending, you’ll see an iron grate on the ground this time. Again, use theChakram Shadow Of Simurghto teleport yourself below this grate. If you’re at the end of “The Lost Warriors” side quest, there will be a mini-boss battle here. As a reward for finishing that Side Quest, you will gain a Soma Tree Petal and Xerxes Coin.
Bow of Melionas
Start beneath thenorthernmost Wak-Wak Treein the Hyrcanian Forest and head right. You’ll reach an area withpink grassand an arrow shelf on the right. Quicklyshoot all the pink grassto spawn a chest.
Jump onto the circular ring on the ground, shoot arrows at the grass on the left and right, then climb onto the stone platform in the center to shoot the grass in the upper corners. Shoot quickly to spawn the chest on the ground, containing a Soma Tree Petal.
To obtain this Soma Tree Petal, you need to complete a side quest. Start from the nearest Wak-Wak Tree to theentrance of the Hyrcanian Forest. Head to the right and descend using the wooden platforms and orange mushrooms. As you proceed a bit further to the right, you’ll come across anarea with stone pillarsarranged in a row.
Jump over them and slide past the last rock to the right. Here, you’ll receive"The Deserter" side quest.
To complete this quest, turn left from the soldier who gave you the quest and jump down to the area with pillars. Proceed to the right from there. Climb up from the section where mushrooms spawn and then continue to the right to enter a new area. You’ll seea ramp on your right; slide down from it.
You’ll land on a bridge with a water wheel in the background. Turn left from here, and you’ll spot ahanged soldierabove. Shoot him with an arrow to bring him down and collect the Cannonball quest item from him.Take this item backto the soldier who assigned you the quest, and as a reward for completing the quest, you’ll receive the Soma Tree Petal.
After the battle againstAnahita’s Guardsalongside Vahram, continue to the left to enter the Sacred Archives area for the first time. As you progress left through the long staircase, you’ll enter a new area. If it’s your first visit, you’ll see a cutscene related to theJailer.
Here, three Mad Alchemists will be standing in front of a mural. Approach theblue empty circleto the right of the Mad Alchemist on the far left andinteract with it.This will reveal a chest in the middle containing the Soma Tree Petal.
Holy Scholarship Key
After defeating the Jailer, you will acquire the Holy Scholarship Key. Now, you canreturn to the Prison. If you were previously caught by the Jailer, youstart from your cell. If you don’t remember, it’s the room with the skeleton friend in the bottom left corner.Proceed rightfrom your cell anddescend from the wooden platformbelow the tower. Move right, passing the skulls on the ground, and enter the door.
In this area,there are three doorsfrom top to bottom on the right side. Go to thebottom door. Use the Holy Scholarship Key to enter. After defeating the enemies here, your reward will be the Soma Tree Petal.
Clairvoyance power
Start from the Wak-Wak Tree located in the top left corner of the room with thepillar iconon your map. As you head right, you’ll notice ayellow glowing doorabove, reminiscent of the Portal Puzzles we’ve solved before. Use the Gravity Wings todouble jumpupwards and enter through that door. Another puzzle awaits you here.
With the first Sargon, stand on the first pressure plate in the bottom corridorfor two seconds, then stand on the first pressure plate in thetop corridorfor a few seconds.Return to the bottom corridor,stand on the second plate for enough time, then interact with the switch. After waiting a few seconds, interact with the switch again.
Immediately leave a copy withShadow of Simurghon the right side of the next pressure plate, then wait on the pressure plate on your left until your time runs out.
With the second Sargon, head to the top corridor and stand on the pressure plate for a moment, waiting for the first door to open. Once the barred door opens, wait on the pressure plate until the next metal door opens. Repeat this process until the final door opens, thenquickly teleport to the copycreated by the first Sargon. Wait on the pressure plate at the far right of the bottom corridor until your time runs out.
With the final Sargon, proceed through the doors opened by the other Sargoths in themiddle corridor.If you’ve done everything correctly, you’ll pass through the final door in the middle corridor, completing the puzzle. After the puzzle, the ceiling above the puzzle doorwill open, allowing you to jump up there. The Soma Tree Petal awaits you in this area.
Shadow of the Simurgh power
Start from the Wak-Wak Tree located to the left of theShallowsfast travel area. Head left andjump downthe gap where the spikedcylinder is located.After passing the other cylinders with Rush of the Simurgh, descend further down.
Stand on the stone pile with waste flowing from both sides. When jumping down below the poisonous water flowing from the right side, use Rush of the Simurgh before touching the ground. This way, you will obtain the Soma Tree Petal.
Rush of the Simurgh power
Start from the which is located nearest point inSoma Tree border. Head left, drop down, and continue to the left.Use the Chakramto activate the platform in the spiked area and cross to the left side. Instead of continuing left, jump up through the gap above by performing a wall jump. Quickly move up to the platform with the skulls that activate arrow traps, and without getting hit, jump to the platform on its left.
Climb up using wall jumps toreach the hanging cratein the upper left corner. From there, move to the crate on its left and then onto the hanging wooden platform. Once you reach the point in the upper left corner, you’llsee several hanged skullsthat trigger traps to your left; avoid going there.
You need to reach the point in theupper right cornerof this area. After reaching there with a wall jump, proceed to the area in the upper left. This way, you’ll reach a Mimic.After defeating the Mimic, you’ll obtain the Soma Tree Petal.
Gravity Wings power
Head to the large room with theship iconon your map and start from the entrance of the Captain’s Room. From here, head left towards the direction of the large room with thehanged cargo iconson your map.
As you move left from the Captain’s room, use your Chakram tocross the wooden cable cars. Upon entering the room on the left, navigate through the swinging spiked log traps.
If you haven’t already, you’ll encounter several waves of enemies here and obtain theTime Crystal Chest.
After descending to the left of the Time Crystal chest and moving left again, you’ll encounter awall covered in spikes. Use the Wall Jump and Gravity Wings combo to reach the wooden section in the upper right corner of the spikes.
Move to the right, pass through the swinging spiked log trap, and reach the other side. From there, use the wooden wall on your right with thewall jump and Gravity Wings comboto reach the left side, where the Soma Tree Petal awaits you.
Start from the Wak-Wak Tree to the left of the roomwhere you fought the Forest Queen. Head left and shoot an arrow at the mushroom-spawning flower. Climb the green vines to reach the stone structure. verify to catch one of theexploding purple bugswith the Dimensional Claw on top of the structure. You need to reach the vines at the top of the structure.
Once you reach the area with the stone tablet, go right and move downwards the stairs. Jump to the handhold in the corner of the wall to climb up. Aftercutting the purple vineswith a Heavy Attack, you’ll enter another structure. Throw the bug caught with the Dimensional Claw onto theyellow glowing rockson the right side of the structure’s top to make the stones disappear.
There is apurple pouchon the right wall as you enter the area; catch it with the Claw this time and throw it at the breakable stone on theleft side of the roomto destroy it. You’ll faceseveral wavesof enemies. Then move downwards from where you destroyed the stones and reach the Soma Tree Petal.
Starting from theWak-Wak Tree in the northwest, head left and climb the large stone steps to exit the area. In the next area, you’ll encounter a sand pillar as you continue left. Prepare for atrap-filled adventureahead. You can gaintwo Xerxes Coinsbefore Soma Tree Petal on this dangerous path. But beware, it’s no walk in the park.
After obtaining the second coin, head to the right and jump down through the red crystals. Use Rush of Simurgh to reachthe broken stone platformon the right, then jump to the next platform. Use a wall jump and rush combo to reach the area on the right while avoiding thestone snake trap. Stay near the crash point on the wall of this trap, thenclimb onto the snakejust before it retracts.
From the vertical cracked platform above you, jump to the horizontal platform on the right before the snake retracts. Use adouble jump and rushcombo to pass through the red crystals. Jump from the horizontal broken platform, you reach the vertical one on the left, then rush to the area on the right.
Use a wall jump to reach the broken platform on the right from the descending stone snake, then jump to the wall on the left. Cross to the opposite wall from the top of the wall and slide down. This way, you’ll obtain the Soma Tree Petal.
First, start from theSentinel’s Roadfast travel point. Descend through the gap between the Wak-Wak Tree and the fast-travel statue. There will beyellow breakable stoneson the ground. On the right, there will be a Servant of Azhdaha, and there is anexplosive rockon the wall edge in this area. Use theDimensional Clawto grab it and destroy the breakable stones.
Descend and head left, and there are more breakable stones to destroy on the left side of the areawhere Fariba is located. The rock you grabbed with Dimensional Claw earlier will respawn, go and grab it again anddestroy these breakable stonestoo. Do not go beyond the destroyed passage for now.
Now, go to theNight Temple fast travel areain the Upper City. Then, in the bottom left of this area, there will be anenemy in the shape of a clay statue; abduct it with the Dimensional Claw. Then, return to the area whereFariba is locatedin the Pit of Eternal Sands and jump down to the left.
There are snake traps crushing the ones standing in the middle from both sides in this area.Throw the enemyyou grabbed from above intothemiddle of the traps. This way, there will be a chest below the trapped area, and you will obtain the Soma Tree Petal.
Obtain “Celestial Guardians” Main Quest
Start from the Wak-Wak Tree located on thefar rightof the Raging Sea.
Climb up from the tree and head right over the massive ship chain. If you are in the middle of"The Celestial Guardians" main quest, wait for the events here to conclude.
Afterwards, proceed towards the right side of this massive warship. Once again,traverse over the chainsuntil you reach a stone floor.
This is where you can shoot one of the Celestial Arrows. Here, you’ll find a Soma Tree Petal waiting for you.
Fabric of Time power
Start from the Wak-Wak Tree to the right of theSoma Tree fast travel pointand head right. You’ll need to goquite far to the rightfrom here. After passing the secondgiant tree monsterencounter, climb up the handholds on the walls to the right.
In the next area, use theFabric of Time powerto cling onto the magical triangles and traverse through. Then, you’ll reach an area withtwo giant birdcreatures. After passing them, if you haven’t been here before, break the breakable rocks on the right with the Dimensional Claw.
Move towards the right using the Fabric of Time ability and progress with the help of triangles. Then, you’ll come to an area withpurple exploding sacs. If you haven’t already, destroy the wall here.
Continue to the right between the bull statues until you reach theLighthouse location. Go to the right and enter the structure. Then, climb to thetop of the structureusing the triangles and turn right.
You’ll come to theedge of a cliff. Jump down from here. This way, you’ll reach a previouslyinaccessible point in the Raging Sea. Here, you’ll need to defeat a few waves of enemies.
Once the battles are over, you can collect the Soma Tree Petal from the left side.
First Soma Tree Petal
Enter Upper City from the Wak-Wak Tree in thetop right corner of the Lower City.
You need to go to the center of this large room. There isan eye-like socketon top of the grate in the center where you may place a purple object.
Before dealing with this socket, you may want todeal with the troublesome archersthat carry large bows; they are likely to give you a hard time. After clearing the archers, reach thetop of the centerusing the Clairvoyance ability and retrieve thepurple capsulewith the Dimensional Claw. Once you place it in the socket, descend from the grate.
When you open therightmost chestin this room, you’ll encounter a Mimic surprise. After the battle, you will obtain the Soma Tree Petal.
Start from theHanging Gardensfast travel point.
If you continue straight to the left from there without deviating, an event will occur if you are still continuing"The Celestial Guardians" main quest. Afterwards, if you continue to the left of this room again, you will find a Soma Tree Petal waiting for you.
Chakram Shadow of the Simurgh power
Start from the Hanging Gardens fast travel point.
Go left from there and jump down through the first gap. Proceed to the right and drop down from the wooden platform. Continue to the right from the area with thepressure plate and hinged platforms, then jump down again. As you continue, you will come across a door; pass through it to reach the next area.
When you reach the upper right corner of this area, you will see aspiked wall. Use the Chakram Shadow of Simurgh to climb up and move to the right side of this area.
Then, you will notice a small iron-barred area on the wall. Use the Chakram Shadow of Simurgh to teleport into it.
Use the Chakram Shadow of Simurgh to bypass the spiked traps. After passing the first set of traps, jump down through the gap on the right. Once you navigate through these traps, use the Chakram Shadow of Simurgh toteleport behind the barson the opposite side and reach the Soma Tree Petal.
To obtain this Soma Tree Petal, you need to reach the room with the wing icon. you may access this room from the ice formations in the bottom-left corner or from the top-left corner. Additionally, starting from the easternmost Wak-Wak tree would be a good option to easily reach this area.
You must reach the cliff with ice stalactites in the top-left corner of this room. Jump to the right from the cliff and use the Fabric Of Time ability to grab onto the triangles in the air to reach the other side. On the stone ledge across, you will find the Soma Tree Petal.
First, you need to go to the left side of the region marked with the falling rocks icon on your map or below the area marked with the columns icon.
Here, you will see afragmented structurein a hexagonal shape. The first step to solving this puzzle is to move to the center ofstay in the middleof the structure and iron platform.
Then, you need toadjust your cameraso that the structure appears unified rather than fragmented. Next, you need tothrow a Chakramat the round part in the center of the structure. This way, you will solve the puzzle and reveal a chest containing the Soma Tree Petal.
