When you jump into a looter-shooter, you know the search for better gear will be endless. While it might be more appealing to constantly switch out your old weapons for the new ones you just got off a downed enemy, there’s value to (literally) sticking with your guns and simply upgrading them to better their stats.Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueoffers players this option through it’s nano-enhancement system.
In an extremely rare bout of altruism, Lex Luthor has decided to help Task Force X improve their arsenal as they battle Brainiac’s monstrous hordes. Investing time in a single gun can result in a massively improved firearm and provide another useful tool for your character’s builds.

How To Unlock Weapon Upgrades
The ability to upgrade weapons at all is not unlocked until chapter fourof the game’s narrative. When it becomes available, your weapons themselves will begin to earn experience; a bar will appear in the customization menu showing how close you are to another nano-enhancement point.
Completing Lex’s support squad missions will allow him to increase the potency of his nanotechnology, allowing for more potential upgrades per gun, up to a total of 15. If you become unhappy with the way you have allotted your available nano-enhancement points, you may refund all of them back to you and respec for a small credits fee.

Perhaps given how powerful they already are, notorious and infamous weapons are not eligible for nanotech upgrades, and cannot have their stats altered by anything other thanaugments.
How To Upgrade Weapons
